[2021] New game mode drastically slowing down PC?

So been playing the new game mode for a week or so. I noticed every time the game finished and send me to the stats screen ot takes around 5 minutes when before the update it was a couple of seconds.

Now if I do anything on my pc when the end game stats is still loading my pc will basically brick itself and I have to just turn the power off and back on to make my pc function again.

Anyone else getting this and if so have you found a fix?

( no my pc isn't bad it's very new and has a 3080)
