Hubris has been written wrong since it's release and even more so after the hotfix not to mention the way it's written is kind of hard to understand.
This is how it's written now...
EGO: When you kill an enemy champion you are granted a statue of yourself.
EMINENCE: Whenever a champion that you have damaged within the last 3 seconds dies, gain 15+1 per Statue Attack Damage for 90 seconds.
And this is how it should be written...
EGO: Summon a Statue of yourself at your base. After scoring a takedown the Statue upgrades, giving you 1 Statue Rank.
EMINENCE: Whenever a champion that you have damaged within the last 3 seconds dies, gain 15 Attack Damage (increased by 2 per 1 Statue Rank) for 90 seconds.
Since the hotfix it gives 2 AD per 1 Statue, instead the description still says 1 AD per 1 Statue. The item also says that only kills give you Statues. This is wrong because it's takedowns (kills and assists combined) instead which is actually huge for the item. The item could also use a tooltip saying how much Statue Ranks you have because the only way to know is either to get a takedown or look at the Statue itself and somehow read it from its color I guess (which is impossible on ARAM btw).
Me and my friends were utterly confused yesterday on how this item worked even after debating about it for atleast 5 minutes. I went into the Practice Tool today to find out how this worked and this is the result. I hope I did not make any typos since I kinda got myself confused writing this too.
Does Riot even know about this?
EDIT: Rewritten after looking at the wiki.
