I looked back through all of the patch notes since todays. The last time there was an actual client update was back in patch 11.19. That was 7 months ago.
In 11.22 there was one entry that was "Skip Waiting for Stats page removed from end of games experience to accurately reflect client's status."
Also, as far as I can tell, the last /dev blog post about the Client Cleanup was also 7 months ago found at the link below.
Last update was they updated the CEF framework which did make some improvements. However, in that update, they mentioned making more frequent updates to the client now that the CEF was updated. Either they have just not been reporting fixes at all or they haven't done anything the past 7 months which is a bit rediculous.
I have still notices a bunch of bugs with the client myself that haven't seem to be resolved. They are:
Client Randomly closing.
Custom game lobbies not working half of the time.
Random notifications about passwords popping up after games.
Friends list disappearing.
Settings not being saved at all and reverting to default every log in.
My loading bar sometimes stops at like 30% though screen still shows game is not frozen. Half the time reconnecting to game works. Other half I end up getting a reconnecting error and have to fully reboot my computer.
Those are some I have noticed. Did Riot just drop the Client Cleanup Campaign completely? Absolute silence (unless I missed something) from Riot with status updates and now they are adding more stuff to the client like upcoming challenges and such. What gives??
Anybody know anything or have any other bugs they are experiencing? Thanks!
