I didn't play the game for like 3 years and came back now for the new split. Last time I played ranked I finished D4. I launch a ranked game, get matched with high emeralds - low diamonds and I'm getting smashed every single game (because I'm obviously not D4 elo anymore), feeding my ass off and ruining the game for my team.
Am I supposed to endure this (and risk a ban) until I get to the elo I deserve? Is that really how the ranked experience is designed for returning players?
