/u/New001, the Executive Vice President of League, is leaving Riot. He tweeted the news on his new Twitter. For those of you who don't know Joe, he was the Lead Producer on League for years and is the bald guy who was the face of all the Riot Pls videos before Safelocked took over.

After 7 incredible years working on League of Legends, it's time for me to try my hand at something new.
It's been always been the highest honor to represent the dev team to you. Sure we've had our ups (10 year?) and downs (dynamic queue?), but I always knew I could count on you for the real talk-because you care. Thank you for all the memes, the support, the criticism, and, of course, playing.
Since I'm leaving, I can say without being self-serving that everyone on the League dev team works incredibly hard on your behalf every day. Some you already know well-folks like Safelocked, Paladin and Meddler-who have been out in front communicating about all the amazing things being delivered for players. Next to them on the other end of the wire is a long list of great humans trying to do their best by you. You are in the best possible hands.
