This sub has been insanely doomer when it comes to the LCS this worlds, and while theres some discussion to be had, I think there's a lot of people taking the opporotunity to be smug about League in NA. This worlds I've met so many fans who love the LCS and its so different then what you see here on the sub.

This past year was the most fun I have had watching LCS in a very long time. Players had large personalities, drafts were weird as f*ck, new rookies showed up, the desk and analysts were super fun, and the stories were hype.

"The teams that represented NA at worlds were the worst major region" Why does everyone act like worlds is the end all - be all of everything to do with league. Showing up and being the best in the world is the greatest league accomplishment no doubt, but teams winning regional leagues is also an accomplishment in its own right. Brazil hasn't made groups in years, but has super die-hard fans; are they pathetic for sticking with them? Many South American coutries soccer teams haven't made it to the world cup in years; why are they still watching?

"NA hasn't had a good worlds run since 2018 though!" Bruh I am a Jets fan, the Jets haven't made even playoffs in 11 years but I still stick with them because thats what being a fan is. You're there through thick and thin. Call it copium/hopium whatever but if you're the kind of person who changes their flair every time a team starts losing, then whats even the point.

"Why not watch other regions with better players" because I like watching things in timezones that work for me, with players that I care about. If sole care about quality of play was all that mattered then we would dissolve every league other than LPL and LCK, but obviously thats stupid.

"Matches are gonna be during the week now cause they prioritize Valorant!" Ok, well I watch league so I'll watch it on the days its playing. Works for me anyways cause I'm not in college anymore and my plans are on the weekends now.

"Teams are downsizing!" So LEC and LPL are revolving doors of organizations and thats fine, but TL deciding that they can't afford 7 million dollars on pro gamers in a global recession means LCS is dead. So long as the league still has advertisers and partners its not getting cancelled.

"The League is all imports" I want NA rookies to be given a fair shot and often meme 5 NA > 0 NA, but in reality at the end of day if they were to win worlds on an NA team, that Leaguipedia entry would call it an "NA" win and that's all that matters. The players interview and interact with fans at tailgates, which is enough of "NA" to me. Who gives af what soloque a person was Silver on at age 11 lmfao. If you want your regions talent to stay, how bout paying them a competitive rate; get mad at your teams for failing to hold onto them.

"EU fans don't want to watch anymore" kk maybe there will be less people clutching pearls whenever an announcer says "Bud lite Ace" lmao

Some people just want the region to fail because of their weird scheudenfraud or whatever, so to those people all I gotta say is, If we're so irrelevant why are you still talking about us?
