Thank you for informing me on what the winning team adc said, as if that has any value. What mental gymnastics ? And which casters ? The one that predicted on mass a G2 victory before the game ? As if I care of people that flip their impression after one bo5. If you ignore the final and look at this tournament as a whole, G2 played better the whole tournament and against better opposition then FPX had. If you think the G2 in the finals was even close to their best then this conversation doesn't even have a point anymore since you clearly don't even watch G2.
G2 played the exact same way in the finals as they did against SKT
Contrary to the Reddit narrative, Doinb seldom leaves his lane with enermy minions under his turret. FPX either gets a counter pick (Irelia, Renekton) for Doinb or champions that can shove the lane with ease at low level (Nautilus, Ryze).
He doesn't do it often but also doesn't hesitate when it's his only option. The Qiyana game vs RNG in LPL finals comes to mind.
