First off, thank you so much for the support shown on my Jinx x-stitch post! It was way more than I was expecting and gave me the drive to make another league themed stitch! In fact it was a incredibly nice user who gave me the idea to make Aphelios in the first place. The original idea was to make it based on the Spirit Blossom themed skin, however there were a lot of colors needed that I just didn't have access to at the time. Impatient as I was, I decided to make the original skin and if you guys wanna see a Spirit Blossom themed one then let me know! :)
DETAILS: This took around 2 - 3 weeks to make which is a bit longer than usual but I had other stuff come up so I couldn't focus on this piece as much as I wanted to. The final piece is 7.5 x 7.5 which is 56.25 squares (5,625 stitches), at an average of 20 minutes a square that's 19 hours of work rounded up! This took 23 different colors of DMC threads, many of which was re-used from my Jinx project, and used 2 strands of thread per stitch.
