Happy New Year everybody.
So the day after New years i decided to send an old friend of mine 2 mystery gifts. Turns out that that buddy of mine was permanently banned on that account and was playing on an other one. A bit dissappointed i sent a ticket to riot asking them to help out with the problem since the account apparently was banned for a while now and i just lost 1K rp for a unfortunate reason. I was pretty confident they would refund or redirect the skins to an other account (i didnt even get a notification what the mystery skins were or that my buddy received them), but apparently riot games would lose to much
by helping me out and can't "refund" mystery skins from a permanently banned account as they replied in the response to my ticket today. Kind of sad that i have to go on reddit for a small problem like this but usually Riot Games gives better responses and support on forums than in actual support tickets.
I dont see any reason why Riot wouldn't want to help a fellow player of theirs out since they lose nothing by this, but maybe i just had a unlucky employee that didn't want to look into this case.
