Seriously, this really feels like the epic climax and perfect conclusion of a more then a decade old storyline where the main character is Faker. Every day I think I remember how it felt watching the finals, I was in my cousin's apartment watching on the tv, he introduced me to league when i was a teenager back in season 1, and both of us stopped playing since, due to our jobs mostly, but keep watching, and seeing Faker who was a rookie when we started getting another trophy against all odds when people were telling him to retire and pretty much nobody believed in him or t1 going into worlds as 4th seed. And the way that it was the finals, the 5 games, faker making the comeback plays on game 4 and 5, after his team showed up for him on the semi's against their seemingly perfect counter.. man. I don't want lol esports to end but if it did today, it would be perfect.
I'm seriously waiting for a 2 hour long video/documentary now, someone has to do it, on lol esports through all its years, from phreak's basement to a crowded arena with linkin park opening. From Faker's origins, getting to become known around the world for his famous zed play, then winning it all, establishing T1's dynasty, their downfall and their undisputable return to the top. With all the great songs worlds has provided, from legends never die to heavy is the crown. Someone has to do it, this movie is literally written already and its waiting to be made. I would sincerely do it if it wasnt for my job.
