Hey guys,

While watching LEC as usual yesterday I realized something that I felt for some time now: The LEC is awesome and really makes my week. It's always this beam of hope at the end of every hard week and I can't imagine a nicer way to end my Friday evening while watching a few high quality but also entertaining games of League of legends and PGL later or chill my Saturday afternoon with day two. There are for sure various reasons: - EU itself, such a great region with many different teams, people and personalities. Every team playing in the LEC got it's time to shine and own style which identifies them. Win or lose. Stomping the league or being bottom tier. - the fans, extremely passionate. Cheering for every team and play, awesome crowd in the studio. - the whole broadcast, huuuge shout-out to all of you, you are the personalities that make all of this happen. You are EU. Let it be the famous Medi-Vedi, Rap-God drakos, Quickshot with the quickstats or Ender with the banter. Sjokz just being awesome as well as Laure giving us beautiful moments with the players. Frosk with her awesome game knowledge and how nice she fits into the team in no time, don't wanna miss her anymore. All the other guests which are bringing some fresh air and a new style to the broadcast. And of course all these unnamed heroes in the back of it, who make all of this possible in the first place. Thank all of you. Keep up your great work. - the style of the broadcast. Informative, funny, a bit of banter, serious analysis, for me this makes the perfect mix, never becomes boring and blends in really well with all the different personalities on the broadcast. - the players and teams, all professionalism aside and outside of the game. All of them seem very nice but aren't too nice for some spicy banter and memes before games. After games it's so nice to see good friends and all teammates hugging or joking around backstage. Ofc this is their job but I appreciate how they never lose their fun. Mic checks show us that every single week. -... There are many more reasons why I love this region and how entertaining this broadcast is for me and many else, just some final thoughts from me: The flow of the broadcast from Ready check over the games with breaks in between and PGL in the end is addictive. Hell I sometimes can't even leave during pauses because the music is awesome and keeps the vibe alive although there's basically just a countdown running down. That's it from me. Much love LEC Team, orgs and fans <3

TL;DR LEC is awesome. Want to thank all people who make this possible every single week and make (not just my) week alot better and happier. Thank you!

Thank you all for the support and feedback over the years. Without you guys tuning in to watch, we literally don't have jobs. We are building this together and it's amazing every step of the way. <3 you all.

What do you mean by biased towards the top teams? As someone that works closely with her, she has no favourites in our league and there's nothing I've personally heard that suggests she has any clear biases.

I am curious, was the fashion choice of dressing down the broadcasters a concious attempt at distincting themselves from NA, or a natural progression.

Personally I think the tone of fashion fits the LEC broadcast & the european attitude more. I think it helps add flair to the broadcast & give it a less corporate feeling - which makes more sense in Europe!

Would love some insight!

It's been something our office has been slowly working towards over the last year and a half. We've found a fantastic stlying team that help give each caster their own unique look, but also bringing down the suits and jackets as standard because it better reflects the individuals on air as well as our viewers at home.

This isn't tied to the LCS specifically, but more about defining our broadcast as unique and different. We don't wanna look like clones of every other esport, or even traditional sport, we are making our own product, our own decisions and trying to do it in a way that feels right for our fans and viewers. I'm glad you're liking it though and I hope this gives you some more context.

For what it's worth, I really dislike that, sorry.

I would much rather you all wore suits and ties. But then again, I am 38 and a married professional, so I suppose I am a fossile as far as esports are concerned.

Still watch the LEC religiously though.

I totally respect and appreciate your opinion, but trust me when I say that my 20 year old casters who have never worn a tie in their lives tries, it's better if they wear bomber jackets and tees.

At the end of the day, our fashion choices are taste, and if you like or dislike it, it's a minor factor of the show. Considering we are on camera for 10-15mins of every hour maximum, between player shots, gameplay, adverts, graphics etc. Fortunately the look of the show isn't the defining factor and most viewers can agree to that!

Hey Quickshot, I had the pleasure to hear you cast live for the first time and chat with you at Rotterdam this spring! I've been tuning in since the EULCS days in 2013 and have heard your commentary for so long that I consider your casting to be the voice of European LoL. It was amazing to see you and your colleagues' energy on the broadcast live on stage!

The entire broadcast crew really have done a wonderful job this year - the rebrand absolutely transformed the league and made it all the more enjoyable to watch. As much as the EULCS was enjoyable I thought it closer to the NALCS' little sibling in terms of production and glamour until the rebrand; absolutely killed it in execution!

<3 you and the rest of the live broadcast crew!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this message. It made me happier than I can explain.

We will keep pushing ourselves to make the best possible show for anyone and everyone taht wants tow atch.

Last split, i was so happy they went to Rotterdam for the finals, i jumped out of my chair.

unfortunately, i couldn't meet Fnatic nor G2, but met a lot of players (i even saw Amazing walking around)

My friend did get the chance to 1v1 Drakos as jax vs yasuo and won as well (i did tweet it, he liked it)

I hope that i get another shot one day to meet quickshot, froskurinn, Yamatocannon and several others someday.

CALM DOWN HASHINSHIN THAT 1v1 WAS CLOSE. (It wasn't) Glad you had a good time at finals! Hope you can meet everyone soon.

Vedius is the heir to Deficio, one of the best on-air analysts and casters we have in the game. Medic is still rough around the edges but he brings fantastic energy and excitment to a cast. He's not as polished as for example, Captain Flowers but for the LEC it works well.

Drakos has made a home for himself in EU. He has bought in and is a welcome addition. I really appreciate his work on EUphoria, his promotional content, desk work and his other roles more than his casting. I also am torn on his work whenever he works with Frosk. Those two are clearly great friends, sometimes it bleeds over a bit too much. Their happiness can be infections but sometimes they go into their own little world and it strays from the original focus, almost always fun, sometimes less than relevant.

Frosk, we were lucky to get one of the absolute premier colour casters and analysts. A welcome addition who goes from strength to strength. Again I do occasionally lose interest when she works with Drakos.

Sjokz is almost certainly the best host/interviewer in the League scene and I'm happy when I see her working on CS:GO events, just wish she did more than Blast events. There isn't much more to say about Sjokz that hasn't been said before, she's great at her job and does a pretty good dolphin impression.

Quickshot, thank all that is holy that the man stopped being a colour caster. His play-by-play is so much better, his duo with Deficio is a caster pairing that will rank amongst the very best in the history of this game, for me it's probably the best. As he continues to grow and become the father of the EU talent I can say I'm very pleased he's still around even though I wanted him gone when he tried to be an analyst.

Laure, I might be wrong but if I had to guess, there is no interviewer with better game knowledge in the scene. Her interviewing skills continue to improve as does her clarity when speaking. As time goes on and Sjokz focuses on other things I expect Laure to become the best interviewer we have in the game.

The production team have done a great job, the observers too, all the people behind the camera who work hard to give such a great product.

Oh, and there is Ender. Well he actually makes me miss Pulse and those were dark, dark days.

Sad to hear you don't like Ender. He is one of the hardest working and most passionate people I've had the pleasure of working with, I hope he grows on you.

What accent does he have? I've always struggled to place it.

I've got British Parents, but was born and raised in South Africa (JHB). I lived there for 22 years, but travelled a lot to the UK, I'm mostly British english but with a SAffa twang as it were. I don't quite sound like a pure bred South African, but I don't sound British either lol. I guess it's a weird one.

Quickshot once again I wanna comment on your own answer just to tell you how much I think you're a god at what you do, I've been thinking this yesterday when Fros made a Power Rangers reference and you managed to twist that reference to then make your game introduction sentence. You're honestly amazing and as much as I like the other casters, when you're on I know i'm gonna enjoy it a lot

<3 Thanks so much. I'm very fortunate to have my job, I am confident in my own abilities and also appreciative of the support we get. The fact is, if I can't keep your interest and your faith, you won't come back so the pressure is always on and I'd rather be able to have a discussion like this, than ostracise you and force you away.

I find this really interesting, you should try putting some south affrica expression in your sentence sometimes to see how the others are confused ! this would be hillarious

I tried to a few years ago and it was missed by so many people. I tried a few cricket and rugby calls and those were also missed by most. I have to admit though, I didn't have quite as many followers and people didn't really know about my history as much as they do now. I suppose I could consider trying it again. What's on your shortlist? Boetie? Klap? Moer?

Hello from a long time fan.

I even made this thread about you years ago.

You've gone from strength to strength.

Woah 6 years ago and also my original FPS nickname! I'm impressed. Thank you for watching and supporting for so long!

Thank you from an observer, this actually means a whole lot 💗
