Like many champions now , when their abilites deal bonus damage based on a certain statue of the target , cc'ed , debuff , low health.. The ability displays crit damage animation after it damages target

e.g : Talon's Q - Karthus's Q - Vlad's Q - Pnath's Q - Ryze,Mord,Aniv,Evelynn's E etc..

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one! It's a special irritation of mine that some of those abilities don't actually Crit. If they did, surely IE would work with them, or Randuin's Omen works against them (the basic attack looking ones, anyway). If magical crit was a real thing (past statikk shiv, corki crits and looks at notes gromp's first 2 basic attacks), then we could offer a magic IE or something, but it's not.

I think it's misleading for new players to have fake crits on champ kits, even if they do feel super satisfying. Our champ designers know how awesome it feels to get crit text anims as rewards for "doing the thing" well, and it shows since we have so many of them now!

Given some actual time to work on this, I'd like to offer a chunky, snappy "crit-like" animation to replace the Crit icon. The text would pop, linger and perhaps even have a small tremble to show just how insanely sick that ability hit was! You're insane, Vlad! Incredible sweet spot, Aatrox!

It's probably not going to happen soon (or at all, depending on feedback or internal playtesting etc) and I imagine a large chunk number of Redditors would miss seeing the spikey crit icon, but I strongly dislike the misleading nature of magical/fake crits (Aatrox and Ryze being the worst offenders).

I can only promise that whatever the combat text anim ends up being, it'll feel satisfying!

It Just won't be a Crit.
