According to Riot in a deleted clip the other day Samira is getting destroyed because of banrate. Darius has been the king of high banrate for quite some time. He's especially strong this season with new items. Sure you can play a ranged champ or something but that's not what I'm playing top lane for. It's not like he's a low elo stomper either he's effective at any rank. It'd be nice to free up a ban slot for something else disgusting like Camille.
