After playing some League of Legends Clash tournaments with friends, some of them said that I might be good at casting or similar things due to my knowledge of the game, champions, abilities, etc.

Does anyone know how to get into a casting gig or anything similar?

Anyone who has experience, how did you get started at your gig?

If anyone is looking for an amateur caster / personality for their collegiate or semi-pro league, I'd love to get some experience casting tournaments or Clash matches in the future!!!

search "caster" here on the sub and you'll probably find leagues looking for casters!

How do you go from something like a collegiate league/amateur tournaments to official riot events?

Well I responded to a tweet from Quickshot where he said EULCS was looking for a new caster. So I just linked a vod. Everyone has different paths, but improvement on base skills is always more important than a resume

Thanks for the (very fast) response. I just got selected as a caster for the collegiate league here in NA so I was curious about that. Any advice for a first time caster?

For your first time honestly just have fun, don't take yourself too seriously. After that if you want to improve find a partner you can practice with regularly!
