So, dementia may take me due to lack of sleep but I am plat now. 7 years later. Age of 50. Sona support. Most of the time.
Oh I’ve tried before. Many times. I’ve been on fake vacations, invented fake projects, called in sick, you name it. All to find the few precious hours to climb. All between work, family, and metas.
This road to platinum has been littered with disconnects, placements in bronze, forfeits, afks, whiners and primadonnas, horrible duos, farming junglers and self professed diamond smurfs. I’ve been called most about everything, and I’ve written most about everything in return.
In short: I’ve played this stupid addictive wonderful game since S3 and been hardstuck gold. Getting plat is quite an achievement for me! In the final summing up of my life (which you start doing at 50) I rank it highly, very highly. It is up there with my kids, getting a drivers license, my carreer, building a house, and exotic sex.
Everyone that has really played this game with the intention of climbing know what I am talking about. It is a grind.
