[2023] does runeterra have infinite expansion potential?

just a shower thought

today i counted that currently runeterra is missing ~60 LoL champions and since LoL is literally one of the most popular games nowadays, does that mean that riot are never going to get out of ideas for new cards? (at least champion ones)

i hope riot will forever care about LoR because Valve/Artifact experience was pathetic
