I was under the impression that Gold vaults had duplicate protection.
Jax fragments are fine but it gave me a dupe 'Armordillo Shell' (common - +0/+1 Tough) for 50 dust, I only have 1 so I assume its coded as a 1-of relic but in that case should'nt it give me something else that won't be dusted? Theres still other rares I don't have and I'm even missing a 3-of for Starchild's Staff.
Really strange, I'll probably send a ticket later today.

From the the patch 4.6.0 notes From this note, I get that the protection is only for champions shards
This is correct. The relics are a bonus that aren’t normally in gold vaults, they just appear as an extra sometimes - an extra relic or a bit of extra stardust.
