For me poc just looks and feels outdated. Animations are too slow and the ui looks like a companies first attempt at a mobile game. It's a fun mode but for me has many more frustrating things than it's worth. Progression is painfully slow unless you wanna give up real currency. Feels like it should have had more time to cook and been a 20$ thing on its own to have faster progression for anyone to actually want to play this game. As an existing player it seems to late to make a full dive into pve and should have been a separate experience and not what they are going for today.

Another thing is it's in the lol client. Hard to get people into this that aren't into league as it's visible nowhere. People who are looking into card games LoR is kinda doomed in that sense. Hearthstone is on billboards client however their client has a few more things going for it. Such as a functioning shop, more games and several existing franchises that are all big individually. The lol client has 4 games and one of them is only inside the other game. Riots biggest failure on lor is actually getting eyes on the game. They can change all they want but I fail to see their plan to get new players.

the recent bundles from POC have done gangbusters

Any link or quote from riot to confirm the statement? Or are you talking out of your ass?

The new game director said the asol bundle was very, very, very, very, very successful.
