[2019] Can't select cards - Can't progress past tutorial

I've tried restarting the game, my switch, reinstalling, but every time I get to the 2nd tutorial, my curser gets stuck in the bottom left corner & when I try to select the first card, the cursed moves below the screen and I cannot select one or continue.

I can manoeuvre to draw a new card, but that's it. Anyone else hit this snag?
