[2022] Live Server Maintenance: June 29, 2022

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 4 a.m. PT /  6 a.m. CT / 7 a.m. ET / 12 p.m. UTC +1 and will be unavailable for approximately 5 hours.

• The Watermelon event will start for 4 weeks!
• The Server Boost Event boost will start for 3 weeks!
• The Artifact of Power promotion will start for 3 weeks!
• The Ranking Festival promotion will end!
• Festival Coins and Boxes will be removed on 7/06!
• The L2 Pass Season 1 will continue for 2 weeks!
• The Rim Kamaloka event will end!
• All event related items will be removed!
• Sayha’s Blast Chests will be removed!
• The 18th Anniversary Collection will end next week!
• Overall UI Adjustments for better text fitment.

Thank you all for your patience while the servers are experiencing a higher-than-normal load.

The problem seems to happen occasionally but not too frequently. The team is still working on the background to identify what causes those moments of lag, and once we determine the problem's core, we will address it accordingly.

I have an update regarding the lag issue:

We will implement server improvements during tomorrow's maintenance which we hope will improve the lag issue. Nonetheless, we will keep monitoring the situation closely after the improvements are implemented.

Looks like @Amary hit the nail on the head! I have also posted the details of the Emperor c*cktail issue in this topic.

Regarding the server lag, we continue to monitor the situation closely, but we saw a significant improvement on the server performance after this week's maintenance.
