[2020] Live Server Maintenance: Wednesday, April 29, 2020

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 5 a.m. PDT / 7 a.m. CDT / 8 a.m. EDT / 2 p.m. GMT+2 and will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

With this maintenance:

• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
• Character creation will be temporarily enabled for 24 hours before being unavailable again on 4/30.
• The 16th Anniversary Celebration events will start for four weeks. Learn more about the contest and events here.
  • Timed Hunting Zone boosts went active last week on April 22 along with the 16th Anniversary Chest drops.
• A special 16th Anniversary Boost Pack will be posted on the forums to claim after the maintenance. The pack will contain a few items for those who missed the Attendance Checklist reward last week. The attendance event will also continue for one more week.
• Shilen's Soul Crystal promotion will be available on the L2 Store for two weeks.
• Fixed an issue where the link to exchange Evolved Agathions was missing from the Dimensional Merchant NPC.
• Temporarily removed the option to exchanging Spirit Stones with the Blacksmith NPC as it would cause players to disconnect.
• Added a 5 minute cooldown timer upon equip for Blood-Stained Zariche/Akamanah weapon skills.
• Maphr’s Wind Scroll will be deleted from player inventories and warehouses.

Other notes:

• Live servers are currently at max capacity during peak times so you may encounter a login queue.

This is from the free 16th Anniversary Bonus Pack, not the rewards from the 16th Anniversary Aden Treasure Chest.

The 16th Anniversary Aden Treasure Chest has a lower drop rate than the regular Aden one because of the items you get from it.

It does not appear to be dropping there. I will check with Dev why it no longer appears on the monster drop table for that area

Confirmed issue there too. No ETA as it is night time in Korea now, but I will see if it can be fixed by next maintenance. Our design documentation for thsi event has these areas as drop locations for the chest. I will see if Dev removed them intentionally or if it is just a mistake on forgetting to add the items for the monsters in these areas.

We had some technical issues yesterday with getting the Shilen Soul Crystal details published, so that is the reason for delay.

Did you just come back to the game recently? Are your ability points reset every time you switch to dual or just after one time?
