[2021] Live Server Maintenance: October 13, 2021

Greetings Adventurers!

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 4 a.m. PDT /  6 a.m. CDT / 7 a.m. EDT / 1 p.m. GMT+2 and will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours.

With this maintenance:

• Red Libra Event will end next week!
  • Event related items will be deleted on 10/20.
• Sayha’s Blast Promotion will end next week!
  • Promotion related items will be deleted on 10/27.
  • You can now exchange x100 Real Attack Cookies and 1,000,000 Adena for 1 Emperor's Vitality Tonic at the DImensional Merchant (Sayha's Blast Chest Exchange).
• Player Appreciation Packs Promotion will end!
• Dimensional Siege and Raid Contents will end next week!
  • Players must exchange all the related items before it is deleted on 10/20.
• The Chronos server hardware will be changed out to help with the latency spikes.

Note: The events and promotions will end on 10/13 at 6:30 Server Time, but will be made available again after the maintenance as part of the extension.

Will it end tomorrow or will it end on the 20th? Because the original date was tomorrow but Juji modified it to be the 20th... so what's the correct date, also, no new event or anything to pass the time? Even if a new update is coming (If it's really coming) it's awful.

(By the way, if it's the 20th, communication is also awful -.-)

We just got Dev to add an exchange for the Real Attack Cookies, so you can turn in 100 and 1m Adena for a Vitality Tonic.

As for the latency issues, the Chronos server will have its hardware swapped out tomorrow with the maintenance.

The servers are now up!

Apologies for the delay of maintenance, we have spawned Angel Cat in town for 24 hours due to this inconvenience.

The Dandy Ball was for the delay of maintenance. We haven't determined compensation for the latency issue on Chronos since we need to observe if the hardware change today resolved the issue.

I thought we moved over to AWS, what is this hardware your talking about? This should be virtual hardware at this point, with the ability to scale up cpu/memory  when the demand ask for it. Who runs your IT? I think you need to find a new CTO.

We switched out the instance for a different one (new hardware host). 

The team is still investigating the cause for the latency.
