[2020] Live Server Maintenance: Wednesday, February 12, 2020

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 5 a.m. PST / 7 a.m. CST / 8 a.m. EST / 2 p.m. GMT+1 and will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

With this maintenance:

• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
• The Power of Love event will start for three weeks! Details are available here.
• Sweetheart Box arrives in the L2 Store for three weeks! Details are available here.
• Several latency reducing measures will be temporarily implemented to improve server performance, while we wait for our new server hardware to arrive:
  • The monster spawn time in the Altar of Evil hunting zone will be temporarily increased from 7 seconds to 45 seconds a mob to provide better server performance.
  • The number of monsters that spawn in Timed Hunting Zones will be temporarily reduced by 30%.
• Character creation will be briefly enabled after the maintenance, but will be disabled again from 2/13 until 2/19.
• Timed Hunting Zone Recharge Stones in the L2 Store will remain disabled until the issue with their usage can be fixed.
• All Weapon Appearance Stones will be removed from inventories and warehouses on 2/19. Please make sure to use up any remaining weapon appearance items before the maintenance next week.
• Fixed an issue where the Mentee Mark Rewards did not reflect the changes made to the Mentoring system after the last update. Please find the list of items that can now be exchanged using Mentee Marks:
