[2022] Live Server Maintenance: October 19, 2022

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 4 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. CT / 7 a.m. ET / 12 p.m. UTC +1 and will be unavailable for approximately 9 hours and 30 minutes. 

The following changes will be made to the game during this maintenance:

• The Hero’s Tome Patch will go live!
• The Red Libra event will start for 4 weeks!
• The Hero’s Tome events will start for 4 weeks!
• The Night Market promotion will start for 3 weeks!
• New Player packages will be available in the L2 Store for 4 weeks!
• The Hero’s Tome Pack will be available in the L2 Store for 4 weeks!
• The Store Update Extravaganza promotion will start for 4 weeks!
  • Event related items will be removed.
  • Top-Grade Opal will be removed on 10/26.
• The After Summer Hot Time event will end!
• The Hero’s Soul Crystal Box promotion will end!
  • Promotion related items will be removed on 10/26.
• Character Transfer queue will resume after the maintenance.

Please note, details regarding the Hero’s Tome events will be published tomorrow as the maintenance concludes.

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for sharing the issues from the update with us. I have an update regarding the expiring consumables, and all the information can be found here.

As for the perceived reduction in EXP, this change was intended and listed in the patch notes. However, please know there is no real change to how things were before. The only difference is that the total EXP values were adjusted to 1/10,000. So if you used to obtain 100,000,000 EXP in a given zone, you are now getting 10,000 EXP. Again, please note that everything was adjusted to this new rate, so in reality, there is no difference in progression.
