[2020] Live Server Game Update: Wednesday, August 26, 2020

Game servers will be down for Tales Untold game update beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 5 a.m. PDT / 7 a.m. CDT / 8 a.m. EDT / 2 p.m. GMT+2 and will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours.

With this maintenance:

• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
• The Letter Collector event will continue for one week.
• Mammon’s Magic Staff promotion in the L2 Store will continue for one week.
• The Cube of Gratitude, Dragon Weapon Coupon, Basket of Gratitude, and Basket of Gratitude and Love from the Dragon Weapons of Gratitude Event will be removed from players' inventories.
• Fixed an issue where the amount of Adena dropping in the Isle of Souls was incorrect.

Other Notes:

• Thank you for your feedback on the Tales Untold update. We have shared and are discussing the feedback with the dev team. We will provide updates to changes as soon as we have more information. If you have any additional feedback to the update, please post it in the feedback thread here.

Removed old patch note about store

There are no additional changes during this week's maintenance, but we will be making hunting zone changes based off of your feedback starting next week. We'll have more details of what those changes are then.

Ive noticed that issue not only in coal mines, but also in other spots, but Coal Mines due to the kill speed is the most visible.

Well you needed to report it so they can investigate it that is an issue.  Many of us are not doing exalted anymore in coal so we don't see these issues.  I agree its wrong and it not happening in other areas so seems to be an issue with that instance because I don't see it in normal xp areas or instance quest in IT so seems Coal mines is the outlier.

I can second that, we noticed the same. After the update exalted quest item drops in Coal Mines are way lower than they used to be. I have already asked in three different threads whether this was by design or some bug related to the letter event. No official answer so far. Hope you get more lucky @philosophy, there are more people concerned with this issue as well.    

We have sent this in as an issue to the Dev team for investigation. I have also added it to the Known Issues thread for tracking. Thank you for providing screenshots and video support!
