Yesterday after the maintenance, we had an issue where the Mysterious Dragon Slayer exchange with the Luna NPC was rewarding players with incorrect reward items. Because of this, many unintended items were introduced into the game at an alarming rate, disrupting the game economy.  

To address the issue, we had an unscheduled maintenance on Wednesday to rollback the servers to the start of the weekly scheduled maintenance. That means any character progression, items, and purchases from between 6:00 a.m. PDT to 12:30 p.m. PDT were reverted back to before the servers went down for the weekly scheduled maintenance.  

A rollback is never the first solution and normally a last resort, but it had to be done to undo the severe damage caused by the issue. We understand the loss of items, progression, and time is extremely frustrating, and we do deeply apologize for the inconvenience.  

The Dev team identified the cause of the issue with the Mysterious Dragon Slayer exchange list expiring on June 9 instead of June 16 due to an error made during the development process. The exchange issue was resolved in today’s unscheduled maintenance.  

Additional steps will be taken from the development side to prevent these issues from occurring in the future. We also will be improving our own processes moving forward for QA testing to mitigate these issues as much as possible and will provide a timelier response to when issues are reported.  

As a token of thanks and an apology for the inconvenience for the loss yesterday, a rollback compensation bundle with 7-day items will be available once per account next Wednesday, June 16 for free after the scheduled maintenance. It will be available for one week.  

The bundle will include the following items: 

  • Vitality Maintaining Rune (7-day)  
  • XP Rune III (Lv. 1-100+) 200% (7-day) 
  • SP Rune 200% (7-day) 
  • Drop Rate Rune 200% (7-day)
