| 497s | So a new player starting the game, there are a few criteria that they're trying to look for. |
| 501s | One, that's a high mobility class, something that's not forgiving, something with good effective health so you don't get one-shot by everything and just die when you get in every Legion Raid and then get kicked out. |
| 511s | So that's why I think Fire Power Artillerist is one of the best new player characters. |
| 517s | It's 50/50 crit swiftness that has mobility there. |
| 520s | You have good stagger, you have good destruction, your abilities are not super... |
| 525s | well, they're really, really forgiving because if you miss some of your bombs or anything else like that, it doesn't matter. |
| 529s | The cooldown drops quick, so you just keep on dropping them. |
| 531s | You also, if you get in trouble and you think are going to knock back on like Brelshaza, you could go into your chair and now it'll make it so you don't get knocked. |
| 538s | So if you don't time stop, you just go into your chair. |
| 540s | That'll give you additional shield and stops you from getting knocked. |
| 543s | So outside of that, yeah, Fire Power Artillerist is honestly just like the perfect class for a new player. |
| 547s | You have your shields, mix all of your different mechanic checks, stagger bonuses, destruction, good mediocre damage. |
| 555s | And then when you decide that you've finally learned enough about the game - That is your one minute. |

| 586s | Machinist - the cool thing about it is, once you're in your evolution form and you drop out, you retain some of your meter. |

| 596s | Not only that, your counter is your biggest damage skill, which means no one expects you to counter. |

| 602s | And the class also doesn't do any damage. |
| 604s | No one's expecting you to do damage, so you can just enjoy yourself. |
| 607s | Get on the class, have fun, transform, look cool, shoot lasers, and that's it. |

| 616s | Because you have a big juicy shield when you're in that when you're in that transformation mode, unlike Artillerist, where, Oh, I'm going to get knocked, I got to get into my my little wheelchair or, oh, I got to do this, I got to shoot this laser and then - going barrage? |
| 629s | Let's be honest, you don't really got to focus on doing damage. |

| 634s | It doesn't get easier than our good old friend, the Machinist. |

| 643s | It is the easiest class to play, because when you go to apply for groups, you're not going to get in any. |
| 649s | And you can easily throw in double sphere, absorption, and run Lo-Pang really, really quickly. |

| 658s | once you come out of your shield mode it's easy to restore. |
| 661s | However, it's also kind of squishy and if you deplete that shield because you don't know the encounters, let's say you're on Clown and you hit by some smashes, some debuffs, that shields' depleted and then you have to go through more drone skills to rebuild your meter. |
| 672s | Also, when you go into your scouter form, every single, basically, every single ability has a movement associated to it. |
| 681s | So you have to know when a boss is going to do a swipe attack so they don't get knocked or your damage seal just doesn't go through view that they'll have super armor. |

| 690s | it's kind of a lower damage class, you going to need level nine gems to get into the trade. |
