There is a work around that you’re welcome to try until the fix is deployed.
Go to your Steam settings → Beta participation under Account tab → change Beta participation to Steam Beta Update

Quick question from the devs working on the 10010 error: After you click the OK button, the game should close. If you re-open the the game, do they still see the error?
And then, check that the clock is up to date and it’s not ahead or behind.
