| 20s | really fun stuff planned for the |
| 21s | anniversary this year. |
| 22s | We want it to be a celebration of |
| 24s | the community, and a thank you to |
| 26s | the players for all the |
| 27s | support and passion we've seen. |
| 30s | So we have some really fun things |
| 31s | coming. |
| 32s | So the first big thing we have |
| 33s | coming, this update, which is |
| 35s | actually kind |
| 36s | of an event, but we're going to |
| 37s | talk about it as a raid, is going to |
| 39s | be the Valtan Extreme |
| 41s | Legion Raid. |
| 43s | So Valtan is going to return in a |
| 44s | new, challenging version of the |
| 46s | eight player raid. |
| 47s | There's going to be two versions of |
| 48s | Valtan extreme. |
| 49s | There's normal at item level 1580 |
| 52s | and hard at item level 1620. |
| 55s | With greater challenge comes greater |
| 57s | rewards, though. There's going to be |
| 58s | some cool |
| 59s | first time |
| 60s | rewards, first time clear rewards |
| 62s | that are going to be given upon |
| 63s | clearing |
| 64s | two gates, along with rewards |
| 66s | as you clear. |
| 68s | Each roster can enter the raid |
| 69s | once every two weeks. |
| 72s | One kind of |
| 73s | cool thing is that gold can be |
| 74s | obtained regardless |
| 76s | of whether or not that character is |
| 77s | designated |
| 78s | to earn |
| 78s | gold or not. |
| 79s | So you can play it on, |
| 81s | you know, your main or whatever |
| 82s | character you want, regardless of if |
| 84s | you have that set as a gold earner |
| 85s | for the week. |
| 86s | So the reward opportunity is going |
| 88s | to reset |
| 89s | every two weeks, and the rewards can |
| 91s | be claimed on kind of this cadence. |
| 93s | So from February 7th |
| 95s | after the maintenance to |
| 97s | February 21st, before, |
| 99s | you know, the next maintenance and |
| 101s | then repeating that cycle for the |
| 103s | next, couple of weeks, we |
| 104s | have from February 21st |
| 106s | to March 6th and |
| 108s | then March 6th to March |
| 110s | 20th. |
| 111s | You're going to be able to enter the |
| 113s | Legion Raid, |
| 115s | from the Demon Beast Commander |
| 117s | Valtan entry |
| 118s | UI by click by clicking the |
| 120s | Extreme button. |
| 122s | And then we've added the |
| 123s | corresponding party finder sections |
| 125s | to the UI as well. |
| 127s | Another |
| 128s | interesting thing about this version |
| 129s | of Valtan is when a gate |
| 131s | has been cleared, players can reset |
| 133s | the progress by using the |
| 135s | Gate reset feature. |
| 136s | And when a gate |
| 137s | is reset, all |
| 139s | progress on gate one is reset, and |
| 140s | the player |
| 141s | can either select a different |
| 142s | difficulty |
| 143s | and try the raid again, or players |
| 145s | can enter the raid with a different |
| 147s | character. |
| 148s | I'm personally super excited. |
| 150s | I think Valtan is still one of my |
| 151s | favorite Legion raids. |
| 153s | You know, just that feeling of |
| 155s | trying to stay alive as the arena |
| 157s | gets smaller and smaller and you're |
| 158s | trying not to get knocked off. |
| 160s | I'll never forget my Valtan prog |
| 162s | experience. I had so much fun with |
| 163s | it, so. |
| 164s | I'm excited to be able to play it a |
| 166s | few more |
| 166s | times, you know. |
| 167s | And earn some cool rewards |
| 168s | for the next couple weeks, and |
| 170s | kind of have that throwback in |
| 172s | nostalgia to the first Legion raid. |
| 173s | I think it's a fun time to bring it |
| 175s | in, since this month is all |
| 177s | about celebrating the community and |
| 178s | looking back on some of the cool |
| 180s | moments we've all had together since |
| 182s | we launched Lost Ark in the West. |
| 184s | So the big section for |
| 186s | this Patch. |
| 186s | Notes is going to be the events. |
| 188s | Like I said earlier |
| 190s | this month is all about celebrating |
| 191s | the community and giving some cool |
| 194s | rewards to players. |
| 195s | And one of the best ways of doing |
| 197s | that in Lost Ark is through some |
| 198s | special events. |
| 200s | So we're going to cover, |
| 201s | First off, a |
| 202s | few of the things that are ending |
| 203s | with this update and then launch |
| 204s | into all of the new stuff coming. |
| 206s | So here's a few notes. |
| 207s | The Freya Island event is going to |
| 209s | draw to a close with the February |
| 210s | update. |
| 211s | So a new |
| 212s | Daily Log |
| 213s | In reward track and new Fever Time |
| 215s | events have been added in that |
| 217s | include some special second |
| 218s | anniversary rewards. |
| 221s | Also |
| 221s | the daily playtime |
| 222s | rewards are going to continue until |
| 223s | February 28th, |
| 225s | and then we're going to talk about a |
| 227s | bunch of different special |
| 228s | anniversary events. |
| 229s | But before we dive in, I just want |
| 230s | to say there's a new event |
| 232s | shop that has a bunch of tabs |
| 234s | in it. So when the update drops |
| 237s | explore those different tabs |
| 239s | and kind of figure out where you can |
| 241s | get some of those rewards from. |
| 242s | We'll cover that below, but just |
| 244s | want to say there's going to be a |
| 246s | bunch of tabs in there. |
| 248s | One for tokens |
| 250s | that come from the Arkesia Festival, |
| 253s | and there's going to be two tabs for |
| 254s | that, one for the general rewards |
| 256s | of all the progression items, and |
| 258s | another tab that has the special |
| 260s | rewards. |
| 261s | And then on top of that, there's |
| 262s | going to be, a tab for the Twinkle |
| 265s | Twinkle |
| 265s | Shop, which is the Golden Frog. |
| 267s | So let's go over some of those |
| 269s | events now. |
| 271s | So the first big event is going to |
| 272s | be the Arkesia Festival. |
| 274s | Players are going to be able to take |
| 275s | art in celebrating lost art second |
| 277s | anniversary at the |
| 278s | Festival. |
| 279s | And every two weeks, there's |
| 280s | going to be new quests for players |
| 282s | to participate in, keeping things |
| 284s | fun and fresh as you earn tokens |
| 286s | to trade in for valuable rewards. |
| 288s | So the first two weeks |
| 289s | are going to be the What I'm Looking |
| 292s | For, which is where you find |
| 293s | items matching random buffs |
| 295s | appearing overhead. |
| 296s | In the event |
| 298s | three types of random |
| 299s | buffs are going to spawn at any one |
| 300s | time and players can find |
| 302s | the identical items to acquire |
| 304s | points. |
| 305s | So the next two weeks after that, |
| 306s | starting on February 21st, |
| 308s | are going to be the Run Pinata Run |
| 310s | event |
| 312s | where players |
| 313s | participating the event will turn |
| 314s | into a giant pinata and race |
| 316s | against each other. |
| 318s | It's going to start off with a brief |
| 320s | introduction about the controls. |
| 321s | And then from there |
| 323s | use the skills provided |
| 324s | in order to get first place |
| 326s | in the race. |
| 328s | The final two weeks |
| 329s | of the event |
| 330s | starting on March |
| 331s | 6th |
| 332s | are going to be the |
| 333s | Break the Gourd |
| 334s | and a Heart Full of Love event. |
| 337s | In the |
| 338s | Break the Gourd event, players can |
| 340s | use |
| 341s | naughty and nice pinata candy to |
| 342s | break the gourd. |
| 344s | As long as you do it in time to get |
| 346s | second anniversary tokens. |
| 348s | And then after that, you can gather |
| 349s | around to celebrate the second |
| 351s | anniversary of Lost Ark together |
| 353s | through some fun and special |
| 354s | interactions. |
| 355s | And all players who participate will |
| 357s | receive the tokens |
| 359s | as rewards. |
| 360s | So let's talk a little bit about the |
| 362s | rewards. |
| 363s | You're going to be earning event |
| 364s | tokens like in previous events |
| 366s | in Lost Ark, and you can earn |
| 368s | those by |
| 369s | clearing Chaos Dungeons or Guardian |
| 370s | Raids, from daily playtime rewards, |
| 373s | and also from participating |
| 375s | in the events. |
| 376s | There's going to be a ton of the |
| 378s | standard Lost Ark event rewards |
| 380s | like progression, honing materials, |
| 382s | card packs. |
| 384s | But we've. |
| 385s | also included some really special |
| 386s | things. You're actually going to |
| 388s | be able to get a set of the |
| 389s | Providence and Unity skins. |
| 392s | We'll have those showcased a little |
| 393s | bit later in the video |
| 394s | if you want to see the cosmetics |
| 396s | showcase. |
| 397s | But they're. |
| 398s | really |
| 398s | cool and I'm super excited to get my |
| 399s | hands on some of those skins. |
| 401s | So in |
| 402s | Addition to the Arkesian Festival |
| 404s | event, we |
| 405s | have a brand new event in the West, |
| 407s | which is going to be called the |
| 409s | Birthday Bash event. |
| 411s | So this is going to be a special one |
| 412s | that takes players on a trip down |
| 413s | memory lane from the last year |
| 415s | and leads them toward |
| 418s | earning some |
| 419s | cool rewards by |
| 421s | re-experiencing those iconic pieces |
| 422s | of lost art content that I've |
| 423s | released over the last year. |
| 425s | We really hope |
| 426s | that this event is going to help |
| 427s | players progress towards some, |
| 429s | upcoming content like Thaemine in |
| 431s | a few months |
| 432s | or help players that are still |
| 433s | working |
| 434s | to catch up to Voldis |
| 436s | and other existing content. |
| 439s | But we really wanted to give some |
| 440s | special rewards and celebrate the |
| 441s | community with this event. |
| 443s | In the Birthday Bash event, players |
| 445s | are going to complete missions in |
| 447s | Brelshaza Hard Mode, |
| 450s | Kayangel Hard Mode, |
| 452s | Akkan Normal and Hard Mode, and then |
| 452s | Ivory Tower of Chaos, Normal |
| 455s | and Hard Mode, and then also from |
| 456s | completing Chaos Dungeons and |
| 458s | Guardian Raids. |
| 459s | You're going to be able to earn |
| 459s | honing |
| 461s | materials, gold, cards, |
| 463s | card XP, accessories, ability |
| 465s | stones and amulets. |
| 467s | Similar to |
| 467s | previous events, the more gates you |
| 469s | clear during the course of the |
| 470s | event, |
| 471s | the more missions |
| 472s | you complete and |
| 473s | rewards you'll earn. |
| 474s | So should be a fun way of |
| 476s | celebrating some of the cool raids |
| 477s | that have released over the last year |
| 480s | while earning some beefy extra |
| 482s | rewards for doing so. |
| 483s | So one of the final events, which we |
| 484s | know players have been asking for, |
| 486s | is going to be the reintroduction of |
| 488s | the Golden Frog or in-game, |
| 490s | the Twinkle Twinkle Exchange |
| 493s | shop. |
| 494s | So it's going to be an event Gold |
| 495s | shop, where players can exchange |
| 497s | gold for valuable rewards such |
| 499s | as honing |
| 500s | materials, legendary engravings, |
| 502s | card packs, and a ton more. |
| 504s | Some of the |
| 505s | packages that you buy will include |
| 507s | a toad token, which can be redeemed |
| 509s | for additional special items. |
| 512s | The Twinkle Twinkle Shop will be |
| 513s | included |
| 514s | in the Event Shop category, |
| 515s | alongside the second Anniversary |
| 517s | Event Shop, and the |
| 519s | Golden Frog or Twinkle Twinkle |
| 521s | Shop is going to stay in-game |
| 523s | until March 6th. |
| 526s | Another fun thing that you're going |
| 527s | to see added into the game |
| 529s | are the winning selections |
| 531s | from the second Anniversary Loading |
| 533s | Screen Art competition. |
| 535s | We selected three winners who |
| 537s | created some really cool community |
| 538s | art. |
| 539s | So keep an eye out for it after the |

| 584s | They're going to arrive packaged, |
| 586s | as I said, as the Providence and |
| 587s | Unity skins that are also |
| 589s | going to include the Jalopy Mount |
| 592s | the Moon Fox pets, and |
| 594s | the |
| 594s | Wallpaper |
| 595s | Night of Glittering Memories. |
| 598s | So you'll be able to celebrate |
| 599s | the anniversary in style by |
| 601s | picking some of those up from the |
| 603s | event with the event tokens, |
| 605s | and then also filling out your |
| 607s | collection with any more that you'd |
| 608s | want to purchase from the store as |
| 609s | well. |
| 610s | So let's take a look at all of those |
| 612s | cosmetics. |

| 696s | these skins. Personally, I think a |
| 698s | ton of them are awesome. |
| 700s | I really like a lot of the weapons |

| 757s | going to be the Neon Wingsuit |

| 785s | We've also made improvements to |

| 787s | short client freeze that could occur |
| 789s | during login, server connection |
| 791s | and environment load. |

| 799s | EAC related server |
| 801s | code has been updated to change |
| 803s | the game |
| 804s | access flow between character |
| 806s | selection |
| 807s | to game world entrance. |
| 808s | Before, if EAC |

| 811s | had not been done during the |
| 813s | character selection, the game client |
| 815s | would shut down. |
| 816s | Now, |

| 818s | authentication has not been done during |
| 819s | character selection, players are |
| 820s | just going to be returned to the |
| 821s | server selection |
| 823s | screen. |
| 823s | So you don't have to go through that |
| 825s | boot up sequence. |
| 826s | And the last change is going to be |
| 828s | the purchase limit for the level |
| 830s | complete pack. |
| 831s | The level 50 ones has |
| 833s | been changed from roster bound to |
| 834s | account bound. |
| 836s | And that wraps it up for the changes |
| 839s | arriving in the 2 Extreme |

| 874s | downs over the last year, in the |
