s | Hello, Heroes of Arkesia. |
---|---|
s | Back again with another episode |
s | of Patch Notes with Henry. |
s | Today, we're going to be covering |
s | the November Update, which is |
s | the Soul Harvest Update |
s | has some cool stuff. |
s | We have a new advanced class with |
s | the Souleater. |
s | We have a bunch of progression |
s | events and other events to help |
s | support players wanting to level |
s | that up or another class. |
s | And we have an absolute ton |
s | of Quality of Life changes. |
s | Today we're going to hit on some of |
s | those highlights for the |
s | Quality of Life changes. |
s | But if you're ever interested in |
s | reading through all the nitty gritty |
s | details, feel free |
s | to read below either on the website |
s | or find the link to the release |
s | notes in the YouTube video. |
s | All right. One of the biggest pieces |
s | of content in this update is, of |
s | course, the Souleater Advanced |
s | class. |
s | It's an assassin subclass |
s | wields a giant scythe to harvest |
s | its enemies' souls |
s | and has some very unique identity |
s | meter skills, such as turning |
s | into the very powerful Deathlord |
s | mode. |
s | There's no better way of showing |
s | this off than just hopping in game |
s | and trying it out. |
s | So let's hop in, check out some of |
s | the abilities, the class Engravings |
s | and what makes this class so cool. |
s | So we have the newest class in |
s | Arkesia. |
s | I'm going to show off some of the |
s | skills, abilities, class Engravings |
s | pretty quickly. |
s | It's not going to be a comprehensive |
s | guide, but just want to give people |
s | an idea of what the class |
s | is, how the two class |
s | Engravings function and how it looks |
s | in combat, because some of the moves |
s | are pretty cool looking. |
s | So let's check it out. |
s | Before we dive into some |
s | of these different identity |
s | meters for the game, one thing |
s | that I want to show off really quick |
s | is the different types of |
s | skills that the Souleater has. |
s | They're grouped into three different |
s | buckets. We have the |
s | Ghast skills. Which are you using |
s | your site for different attacks? |
s | We have the Stygian skills |
s | where you interact with |
s | the dead, you know, as the |
s | Souleater, bringing things back to |
s | life, that |
s | sort of thing. |
s | And then the final category are |
s | your really heavy hitting Deathlord |
s | skills. |
s | And the way that these interact |
s | with your identity meters |
s | at a high level is |
s | when you use your Ghast and |
s | Stygian skills, you're going to |
s | charge up these three different |
s | bars that are called Soul Stones. |
s | And you can use |
s | Soul Stones as a cost |
s | to pay for those really |
s | heavy hitting Deathlord skills. |
s | So you can use Sythe |
s | skills, call things back from the |
s | dead, charge up, use a |
s | big ability. |
s | And that's how the class functions |
s | at base level. |
s | Now, layered on top of that, you |
s | have the Possession Meter. |
s | And this increases |
s | as you use the |
s | heavy hitting Deathlord skills |
s | along with the Stygian skills. |
s | And when you enter this mode, |
s | you become much more powerful. |
s | You have a 13 second |
s | burst window where you're going to |
s | be doing even more increased |
s | damage to your enemies. |
s | And both of the class Engravings |
s | kind of tweak how these two |
s | different class identities |
s | work at a base level. |
s | So let's cover both of those |
s | playstyles quickly and I'll show |
s | off, you know how they function. |
s | All right. The first class engraving |
s | that we're going to cover is Full |
s | Moon Harvester. |
s | And the goal of this engraving is to |
s | make the Souleater feel a bit |
s | more like a burst class |
s | by really emphasizing |
s | that special Deathlord |
s | mode. |
s | So at level three, you |
s | can see the benefits that you're |
s | going to receive are plus 14% |
s | critical rate. |
s | When using Soul Stones, you |
s | recover your Possession Meter |
s | by 5%. |
s | So, you know, filling up your meter |
s | faster. |
s | And when you enter the Deathlord |
s | mode, the cooldown of your |
s | Deathlord skills, those really |
s | big heavy hitting skills reset |
s | and the damage while |
s | in Deathlord mode for those skills |
s | is plus 15% and |
s | their cooldowns -70%. |
s | So you can see when you |
s | activate that mode, you're going |
s | to get those skills off |
s | cooldown and always be ready to go |
s | for for a big first window. |
s | Let's show off, you know, what the |
s | playstyle kind of looks like at a |
s | base level. |
s | All right. So I'm just going to go |
s | through one cycle and show off, |
s | you know, how this |
s | class engraving functions. |
s | At a basic level, you're |
s | just trying to charge up the |
s | Soul Stones to keep, |
s | you know, your Possession Meter |
s | high. Because when you use the |
s | Possession Meter, you get those |
s | Deathlord skills off of cooldown |
s | again, ready to go. |
s | So we can use some Stygian |
s | skills here |
s | along with some of the |
s | Ghast skills to |
s | charge up our Soul Stones. |
s | Then once those are up, we |
s | can use those Soul Stones |
s | to activate the powerful |
s | Deathlord skills. |
s | You can see here the numbers aren't |
s | huge, but that will change |
s | once we enter our burst window. |
s | So we're still just charging up, |
s | charging up. |
s | You can see we almost have it |
s | full once we get off a few more |
s | abilities. |
s | Cool. |
s | So once we activate, |
s | we're going to go into the mode. |
s | We're going to |
s | be able to use three of these |
s | skills so one of each |
s | before the mode ends. |
s | And yeah, let's see what the burst |
s | looks like. |
s | So we, here we go. |
s | Not bad. |
s | Used the Awakening while |
s | we have that extra damage. |
s | And there we go. |
s | Pretty fun. |
s | And then, you know, the goal is |
s | to to pull that off again. |
s | We can use our Soul Stones because |
s | those pulled over from the last time |
s | we actually used the burst |
s | and just keep going and, |
s | you know, work to get that burst |
s | up again. |
s | Let's talk about the |
s | Night's Edge playstyle. |
s | So this one is a bit more focused |
s | on constant uptime |
s | rather than a specific burst mode. |
s | But that being said, it also |
s | does have its own special little |
s | burst mode. |
s | So let's get into the details. |
s | The way that Night's Edge works |
s | is it turns the Possession Meter |
s | into a different meter called the |
s | Edge Meter, which disables |
s | Deathlord mode. |
s | And also rather |
s | than Deathlords skills |
s | using Soul Stones, they don't |
s | consume them until |
s | you've charged up three |
s | Soul Stones and then they |
s | enhance the Deathlord skills and |
s | make them way more |
s | powerful. |
s | So this class is built around |
s | using your |
s | a few more Ghast skills than the |
s | other build along with some Stygian |
s | skills to charge |
s | up your Soul Stones and unleash |
s | the enhanced |
s | Deathlords skills, and then |
s | simultaneously working |
s | to increase your Edge Meter. |
s | And then when the Edge Meter is |
s | full, it automatically activates |
s | to give you the Soul Snatch |
s | debuff. |
s | And when that is given, you |
s | can't use the Deathlord skills |
s | anymore, but it actually does |
s | enhance all of |
s | your Ghast |
s | skills. |
s | So I will show |
s | you off what some of the enhanced |
s | skills look like and take a look |
s | at how this class engraving plays |
s | well. So when you're attacking the |
s | enemy, you can |
s | use your Ghast |
s | skills to start charging up the |
s | Soul Stones. |
s | And I'll show you off what kind of |
s | the difference between having |
s | three Soul Stones for an enhanced |
s | attack look like versus a normal |
s | one. |
s | So let's use a Deathlord skill since |
s | we have two charges of Vestige. |
s | Let's use one here, |
s | 24 mil versus |
s | charging that all the way up and |
s | using it again |
s | or, you know, well over twice |
s | the damage. |
s | Let's keep going. |
s | Charge up. |
s | So now we have another enhanced |
s | attack. |
s | Do a ton of damage with that. |
s | And as you can see, you actually |
s | slowly lose the Edge Meter |
s | so you can intentionally keep |
s | yourself away from hitting that |
s | threshold |
s | or continue to |
s | use all of your skills and enter |
s | that mode intentionally to |
s | enhance your guest skills. |
s | And the enhanced |
s | Deathlords skills actually give more |
s | meter than the non enhanced one. |
s | So you can see there |
s | we gained quite a bit. |
s | So now that we're getting close to |
s | the Edge Meter being full. |
s | We can go ahead and fill that up |
s | with our last skill. |
s | And then while we're in that mode, |
s | use the enhanced Ghast skills |
s | while it's running out, do |
s | a bunch of damage with the |
s | Ghast skills and stygian |
s | skills and then |
s | come out of the mode and we have |
s | Soul Stones ready to go, pop |
s | those off and |
s | just continue, you know, |
s | working to deal |
s | damage as quick as we can. |
s | This class usually uses a |
s | combination of Crit and Swiftness |
s | so that your abilities are coming |
s | off of cooldown faster |
s | and you can keep, you know, that |
s | uptime as optimal |
s | as possible. |
s | Yep. So that is how Knights |
s | Edge works. So now we've taken a |
s | look at how both of the class |
s | Engravings function a little |
s | different, but both playing off of |
s | the element of meter |
s | gain along with balancing |
s | your Soul Stones and how you want to |
s | spend those in combat. |
s | I think it's a really cool class. |
s | Personally, I'm going to try the |
s | specialization version first |
s | with the full moon harvest, but |
s | with engraving support from the |
s | Super Mokoko Express. |
s | I'm definitely going to try both out |
s | in raids and see which one |
s | I end up liking more. |
s | Awesome. Now that we took a look at |
s | the solider, let's hop in and |
s | check out some of the progression |
s | events that we have coming. |
s | There's two major ones. |
s | We're going to have a Super Mokoko |
s | Express event similar |
s | to what we released when the |
s | Aeromancer came out. |
s | And then on top of that, we have a |
s | new progression event called |
s | Path of The Souleater. |
s | While it is named after the |
s | Souleater, it doesn't actually have |
s | to be used on that class. |
s | You can use it on any class you |
s | want. |
s | Once again, I'd like to just show |
s | off some of the rewards, show |
s | you how the UI works so you can get |
s | it easily enabled on your characters |
s | when the update drops. |
s | So let's hop in. |
s | I'll show you the Super Mokoko |
s | Express event first and then we'll |
s | dive into the Path of The Souleater |
s | event. So the November Soul |
s | Harvest update comes with two |
s | different progression events. |
s | We have the Super Mokoko |
s | Express along with |
s | the Path of The Souleater event, |
s | and both of these events can be used |
s | on any character you want. |
s | It doesn't have to be the Souleater, |
s | but for the purposes of this video |
s | and probably when it releases |
s | very soon, I will be activating them |
s | on my Souleater. |
s | So the first one is obviously the |
s | Super Mokoko Express. |
s | This can be activated on a character |
s | from item level 1415 to |
s | 1540. |
s | It's perfect to use once you've used |
s | that South of Vern Power Pass |
s | that gives you the relic gear |
s | and drops you off right at item |
s | level 1415. |
s | So I'm going to activate it on my |
s | Souleater and show you what |
s | some of the different rewards you're |
s | going to get from that are quickly. |
s | And then we'll also do the same for |
s | Path of The Souleater. |
s | Just cover some of the rewards. |
s | And check it out. |
s | All right, here we go. |
s | Let's activate |
s | Souleater Super Mokoko. |
s | It's active until February |
s | 7th. So you have about three |
s | months of all |
s | of the engraving |
s | support |
s | and time to level up the pass. |
s | So you can choose the basic settings |
s | right when you start off. |
s | This will help you get started with |
s | a build very quickly. |
s | I'm going to, |
s | Let's go with Full Moon. |
s | Try out the the burst. |
s | So right, right off the bat it'll |
s | give you some recommended |
s | Engravings, gems support |
s | and then gear that gives |
s | you the stat that's, |
s | you know, most valuable for that |
s | build. So for this case |
s | Spec and Crit and |
s | then if you go Night's Edge, you can |
s | see that switches over to a |
s | swift build along |
s | with different Engravings and you |
s | can change the Engravings later |
s | in the engraving support menu. |
s | But this is just helping you get |
s | right into the gameplay |
s | immediately. |
s | Cool. |
s | I think for this one, I've already |
s | done some build set up. |
s | So this helps you |
s | figure out your different skill |
s | levels, all sorts of things. |
s | If you've already set that up or |
s | know what you want to do separately. |
s | You can either click auto apply to |
s | apply all of these settings to your |
s | character or click the only receive |
s | items and it'll give you |
s | all that items and let you do some |
s | of the setup on your own. |
s | So let's receive our items |
s | and then right off the bat, we have |
s | access to the event. |
s | We can start claiming our rewards. |
s | We have done the Super Mococo |
s | Express before. |
s | So if you've been around Lost Ark |
s | for a while, you probably are pretty |
s | familiar with what you're going to |
s | receive. |
s | But if you're new and |
s | want to check it out, you can see |
s | at each level you're going to be |
s | getting honor shards, silver |
s | and honing material pouches. |
s | And as you progress through |
s | these item levels and kind of make |
s | that leap once you hit 1490 |
s | and need to receive the next |
s | tier of honing materials, |
s | you can see that those materials, |
s | you know, mature alongside the pass. |
s | So every time you level up, |
s | you're getting valuable stuff. |
s | You can see the honor shards |
s | increase, the amount of silver |
s | increases. |
s | There's some gold sprinkled in |
s | there. |
s | And then when you reach the end, |
s | you get a particularly valuable |
s | reward, not only in terms |
s | of the items |
s | from here, |
s | but also at the very end. |
s | You get this special chest, which |
s | has some more powerful |
s | gems, some great honing |
s | books, 150 |
s | pheons really sets you up. |
s | So I'm going to quickly hone through |
s | this so I can get up |
s | to the item level required to show |
s | off Path of The Souleater. |
s | Now. We missed a one tap. |
s | Cool. So now that we've upgraded |
s | through one level, |
s | we can go in and |
s | claim the next reward. |
s | So that was 1430. |
s | Then once we reached 1445, |
s | next one, so on and so forth, |
s | all the way through the pass. |
s | Okay. So once you finish your pass, |
s | make sure you claim this |
s | reward, because this is the big one |
s | up here at the end. |
s | It's going to be after you claim, |
s | you know, all the other ones |
s | get those valuable items as well. |
s | And then we get the claim, the big |
s | one, Level seven gems, bunch |
s | of cards. |
s | Legendary selector pack |
s | and Pheons. |
s | So much more. |
s | But yeah, once you've once |
s | you've maxed that out, |
s | it's a good time to decide what |
s | character you want to use |
s | your Path of The Souleater event |
s | on. |
s | It can be used on any character |
s | between 1490 |
s | and below 1610. |
s | So maybe you have a main that you've |
s | pushed up. You're missing some |
s | shards, missing some other items, |
s | and you want to continue that push. |
s | Feel free to do that. |
s | It's called Path of The Souleater, |
s | since it's releasing with the |
s | Souleater, but you certainly don't |
s | have to use it on that character. |
s | I also think it's really cool that |
s | you can mix and match the |
s | Super Mokoko Express and the |
s | Path of The Souleater. You don't |
s | have to use them on the same |
s | character. |
s | You can use one to get |
s | a character up, get those rewards, |
s | and this on another character you're |
s | interested in pushing even further, |
s | or use them on the same character |
s | and just work to get that character |
s | right into the end game as well. |
s | So we can go ahead and activate it |
s | on our Souleater. |
s | We got it up to 1555 |
s | with all that honing and |
s | can start taking advantage |
s | of the really cool |
s | rewards in here. |
s | So just to give you an overview of |
s | how this event works, |
s | it's somewhat similar to the |
s | Super Mokoko, where you're working |
s | your way through a track |
s | as you level up and earn different |
s | rewards. |
s | You can see that down here |
s | 15, 40, 50, 60, |
s | 70, 80. |
s | And then once again, |
s | a special final reward |
s | with some pretty |
s | juicy rewards in there, too. |
s | So you can go through claim |
s | these as you hit those levels. |
s | They're going to have not only |
s | useful hunting materials, |
s | but other things. |
s | You can see the light spears in |
s | there, for example, to start |
s | upgrading your ability stone. |
s | And |
s | as you progress through these, |
s | you know, lots of silver, lots of |
s | honor shards, you should be able to |
s | get your character level |
s | up really quickly. |
s | The other cool thing is, if this is |
s | on a new character that you haven't |
s | advanced through and gotten all the |
s | gear from yet, when you |
s | are clearing some of these in-game |
s | raids, you're actually going to be |
s | getting way more of the materials |
s | from those raids to quickly level |
s | up your gear as well |
s | for crafting the new gear. |
s | You can see here |
s | clearing Gates of |
s | Brelshaza give you way more phantom |
s | intentions 40 for |
s | each of these missions. |
s | As you break through those gates, |
s | you can tap over here |
s | and get the Empyrean of |
s | Contemplations from |
s | Kayangel to upgrade to that level |
s | three set bonus. |
s | And remember, with the change |
s | from, I think one or two months |
s | ago, you don't have to level |
s | up to level two set |
s | effect before hitting level |
s | three now. |
s | So with these, you can jump straight |
s | to level three and just |
s | get your character really geared up |
s | for that endgame. |
s | And this actually goes all the way |
s | to Akkan |
s | with being able to clear up |
s | to 12 Akkan gates and earning |
s | a ton more Eye of Decays |
s | to get that, you know, that |
s | top tier ancient gear |
s | as soon as possible. |
s | So yeah, really awesome |
s | event that I'm glad we were able to |
s | bring in. I think this will be great |
s | for both players |
s | pushing into Endgame |
s | or those that just want, |
s | you know, a boost of rewards as |
s | they start looking towards December |
s | and Voldis arriving next month as |
s | well. So a lot to look |
s | forward to here |
s | for new Souleater mains and veteran |
s | players alike. |
s | Just one final thing to note that's |
s | important. |
s | This event also goes until |
s | February 7th, 2024. |
s | So just make sure you're progressing |
s | and claim all of these awesome |
s | rewards before then. |
s | So one thing we know players |
s | have been really interested to hear |
s | about is our plan for reconnecting |
s | Jumpstart servers back into the |
s | server set that they're from, and |
s | we're actually going to be conducting |
s | that merge with the November |
s | update. |
s | So how that works is the |
s | server isn't going to be merged into |
s | another server. |
s | Rather, the server is just going to |
s | be reconnected in the region |
s | that it's already in. |
s | So for each region, |
s | the server will just come online |
s | like any other server would in that |
s | region, meaning that it's |
s | reconnected to the auction house, |
s | party finder and all the other |
s | systems that were previously |
s | isolated. |
s | So now you'll be able to play with |
s | people in the whole region, have |
s | access to all the items listed on |
s | the marketplace and auction house |
s | and otherwise be able to play |
s | with everyone in the region. |
s | We're excited to see how far players |
s | have progressed in Jumpstart and we |
s | feel that it's the right time to, |
s | you know, release them into the wild |
s | as they've grown up and are ready |
s | to enter. Some end game raids, |
s | have access to all of the different |
s | items that they might not |
s | have had on their auction house and |
s | otherwise continue in their |
s | Lost Ark journey. |
s | Another important piece of content |
s | arriving in this update are the |
s | Prologue quests for Voldis, |
s | definitely something you'll want to |
s | complete before that drops in |
s | December next month. |
s | The quest you'll want to pick up is |
s | called MadNick's Call. |
s | You can find it from the Shushire |
s | Mercenary NPC in |
s | most major cities. |
s | Or if you're In Elgacia, you |
s | can pick it up from the Transparent |
s | Mirror. |
s | There are also a few prerequisite |
s | quests you'll need to complete |
s | before doing the Voldis Prologue, |
s | which are the Twilight Hill |
s | world quest in Pleccia |
s | and the Elpon World Quest in |
s | Shushire. So once you've completed |
s | those, you can check out this new |
s | quest and you're good to go. |
s | So for events this month |
s | before we go into some of the |
s | changes to the existing ones and |
s | some of the new events, just wanted |
s | to give a quick reminder that we |
s | have three progression events |
s | drawing to an end since we have |
s | those new progression events we |
s | covered earlier coming into the game |
s | in this update. |
s | So last call for any rewards. |
s | You want to make sure you claim |
s | those before downtime for the new |
s | update for either the |
s | South of Vern Power Pass |
s | from when the Aeromancer launched, |
s | the Super Mokoko Express |
s | event and |
s | the Story Express event |
s | all from that prior update. |
s | All of those are coming to a close, |
s | but we have those new ones coming |
s | in. |
s | On top of that, the Event Guardian |
s | raid will continue |
s | throughout this month. |
s | There's one small adjustment coming |
s | in for that. |
s | We're actually going to be adding in |
s | ancient gold coins, which |
s | can be redeemed for silver for any |
s | players that have an excess of those |
s | event coins that they've stocked up. |
s | Just so you have an outlet for those |
s | and can have a little extra |
s | silver maybe as you hone up your new |
s | Souleater advanced class. |
s | So in addition to the events ending |
s | and the tweaks to the current |
s | event, we actually have the daily |
s | playtime event coming back for |
s | this update. |
s | Great way for players to earn |
s | honing materials, silver and card |
s | packs just for playing Lost Ark |
s | every day. |
s | We know it was a fan favorite from |
s | when we had it in the game a few |
s | months ago, so we're excited to be |
s | bringing that back. |
s | For players looking to progress |
s | their Souleater or just earn rewards |
s | as they play Lost Ark. |
s | Along with that, we've also |
s | refreshed the standard daily log |
s | in reward track and hot time |
s | events for the month as well. |
s | For store updates this month, we |
s | have two new cosmetic collections |
s | coming into the game, along with |
s | some special cosmetics just for the |
s | Souleater. |
s | We have some cosmetic |
s | showcases prepared to show off |
s | all of those videos, so let's go |
s | through all of the different ones |
s | coming in. |
s | So the first cosmetic collection we |
s | have are the Gothic skins. |
s | These include |
s | a nocturnal cat pet and |
s | a Rose Thorn mount as |
s | well. Let's check them out. |
s | The next collection that's coming |
s | alongside the Gothic skins |
s | are actually the Fourth Anniversary |
s | skins from Korea. |
s | In our version, they'll be called |
s | the Song of Adventure Skins, |
s | and they're really cool ones |
s | designed by the community. |
s | We know players have been really |
s | looking forward to these and we're |
s | super excited to be able to bring |
s | them in. |
s | Just one quick note before we play |
s | the showcase video. |
s | There's also a special skin for the |
s | Slayer that's been developed since |
s | when they launched in Korea, the |
s | Slayer wasn't available. |
s | Let's check those out as well. |
s | And for all those excited to make |
s | their Souleater, we have some |
s | special cosmetics for that as well. |
s | We have the launch skins |
s | for the Souleater, which |
s | include a package with a special |
s | title. |
s | And then on top of that, we're also |
s | bringing the Season Two |
s | Yoz's Jar Leap Skins for the |
s | Souleater. For players that are |
s | looking to get either an epic |
s | or legendary skin from that set. |
s | In the showcase video, we're only |
s | going to be showing the legendary |
s | ones because there's a ton of epic |
s | ones available, but you'll be able |
s | to see those along with the launch |
s | skins. So let's see that. |
s | All right. So a big chunk of the |
s | changes arriving in this update are |
s | Quality of Life adjustments. |
s | There's an absolute ton of them. |
s | We're going to cover a few that we |
s | know players have been looking |
s | forward to. |
s | And then after that, I'm going to |
s | start going through some of the |
s | categories of changes, but not |
s | dive into every nitty gritty detail |
s | and change. |
s | We'll save that for players that |
s | want to go read through those |
s | changes in the full release notes. |
s | But for here, we'll just do a |
s | highlight reel. |
s | The first thing that we know players |
s | have really been looking forward to |
s | and are excited to bring in are the |
s | adjustments to the Ocean Liner, |
s | which lets players travel |
s | from the |
s | world map directly. |
s | Great, great update for |
s | traversing through Arkesia. |
s | I'm going to show you how it works |
s | really quickly in-game, and then we |
s | can do a rapid fire through the rest |
s | of the Quality of Life changes. |
s | The one thing we know players have |
s | really been looking forward to are |
s | the changes to the Ocean Liner. |
s | So I'm just going to show it off |
s | quickly so you know where to find it |
s | in the UI when the update |
s | drops. |
s | Now you can use it from anywhere |
s | in the map. |
s | You can just open up your |
s | map by pressing M |
s | and click board Ocean Liner. |
s | You can choose where to board it |
s | from. |
s | We can click here |
s | and see that now we |
s | can go anywhere in Arkesia |
s | from North Vern |
s | directly and board the |
s | Ocean Liner from |
s | wherever. |
s | You don't have to talk to the guy in |
s | the ports anymore. |
s | So hopefully this will be a good |
s | Quality of Life change as people are |
s | venturing around, you know, |
s | gathering |
s | different pieces of horizontal |
s | content. |
s | And the other key part |
s | is you don't have to board that |
s | Ocean Liner anymore, as you can see |
s | there. |
s | I just directly hopped |
s | on the Ocean Liner and |
s | fast traveled over. |
s | No more animation of waiting |
s | on the boat. |
s | You can just go ahead and |
s | take the Ocean Liner directly. |
s | So speeds up that process as well. |
s | Now that we saw the Ocean Liner |
s | change, I'm going to go through the |
s | different categories of |
s | Quality of Life changes. |
s | There might be a few favorites or |
s | ones that we think players will be |
s | excited for that I'll point out |
s | quickly in here. |
s | But if you want to dive into all the |
s | details once again, check out the |
s | full release notes. |
s | So to start off, we have party |
s | assembly and operations |
s | improvements. |
s | This includes some great party |
s | changes such as party numbers are |
s | not mixed anymore when the party |
s | leader changes and in notification |
s | is displayed mid screen when |
s | changing Party Leader. |
s | Some more rapid fire categories. |
s | We have potion item |
s | registration options, guild |
s | updates, skins |
s | and skin crafting updates, |
s | music UI improvements, |
s | stronghold and life skill updates, |
s | UI updates. |
s | A personal favorite there is being |
s | able to use the interaction wheel |
s | while in observer mode. |
s | We also have tooltip updates |
s | and item use updates. |
s | That was well over 1000 words of |
s | release notes summed up very |
s | quickly. |
s | If any of those categories interest |
s | you, go check out the full |
s | notes. |
s | We're going to do rapid fire through |
s | the general settings as well. |
s | There's a ton of small general |
s | updates. |
s | Some highlights include unlocking |
s | the Pelccia Knowledge Transfer, |
s | which you'll need to complete before |
s | you venture out to Voldis. |
s | We've extended character slots |
s | from 24 to 30 |
s | and there are also some content |
s | balance changes for the Argos Abyss |
s | raid level one to four Guardian |
s | raids and Tier two abyssal |
s | dungeons. |
s | Alongside that counter difficulty |
s | has also been decreased in earlier |
s | Guardian raids and abyssal dungeons. |
s | So yeah, those are some of the |
s | highlights from the general updates. |
s | There's a few more in there, some |
s | small class changes, class UI |
s | changes, things |
s | like not being able to PVP |
s | in the Rowen field boss area |
s | anymore. |
s | If you're interested in the nitty |
s | gritty, once again, feel |
s | free to check it out in the full |
s | release notes. |
s | All right, Well, that wraps up |
s | today's episode of Patch Notes with |
s | Henry. |
s | Just wanted to thank you all for |
s | coming. You know, we've really |
s | appreciated a lot of the feedback |
s | we've been getting as we've been |
s | trying to do some new stuff with the |
s | Video Department and reaching |
s | out to the community. |
s | As always, if you have any feedback |
s | or comments, we're reading |
s | the comments we're, you know, |
s | really, really appreciate all the |
s | feedback being given. |
s | That brings us to this week's |
s | Community Question, which is |
s | if you're making a Souleater, which |
s | build do you plan on playing? |
s | And if you're not planning on making |
s | a Souleater, what character |
s | do you plan on using the new |
s | progression events on? |
s | Let us know in the comments and |
s | always and as always like and |
s | subscribe, lets us know that you're |
s | interested in more of this content |
s | in the future. |
s | Thanks and I'll see you in Arkesia. |
