| 78s | to provide a fresh beginning for new or |
| 81s | returning players who are interested in |
| 83s | giving Lost Ark a try |

| 92s | encountered some challenges at launch |
| 94s | mainly a steep progression curve Bots |
| 97s | and some stability issues but we've made |
| 99s | serious strides in tackling those issues |
| 102s | and feel really confident that we're in |
| 104s | a good place to bring players back |
| 106s | and let's be honest lost ark's raids are |
| 109s | awesome I've had a blast rating with my |
| 112s | guild making friends and tackling |
| 114s | challenges together and that's what |
| 116s | jumpstart servers are all about getting |
| 118s | you to the parts of Lost Ark that are |

| 122s | with jumpstart servers players are going |
| 124s | to get launched right to item level 14 |
| 126s | 15 with a southburn power pass have |
| 129s | immediate access to engraving support |
| 130s | gems and a ton of events to make them |
| 133s | feel powerful right away and progress |

| 148s | I made a Slayer it's my main in-game |

| 195s | a bit about Arcadia even though your |

| 204s | your character or if you are a returning |
| 207s | character you can skip the path and once |
| 211s | again jump right into the end game |
| 219s | so for all of these for new players |
| 221s | they'll teach you how to play the game |
| 223s | uh whether it's going over the major |
| 226s | events in Lost ark's history the |
| 229s | training area which teaches you how to |
| 231s | you know do some of the basic game |
| 233s | mechanics like countering stagger that |
| 235s | sort of thing uh same with the training |
| 237s | room uh or if you're a returning player |
| 240s | you can choose to skip it and you know |
| 242s | boots on the ground get right into the |
| 244s | action and start your adventure right |
| 246s | away |
| 247s | there will definitely still be a lot for |
| 250s | players to learn even after going |
| 252s | through in-game tutorials but our goal |
| 254s | is to have a lot of players going |
| 256s | through the experience together so they |
| 258s | can work together to Prague raids help |
| 261s | each other all on an even footing for |
| 263s | that reason they'll have isolated PVE |
| 265s | matchmaking their own party finder and |
| 268s | auction house there's a server in each |
| 270s | region and we'll be looking for the |
| 272s | right time to connect them back within |
| 274s | the next six months |
| 276s | we have a ton of things planned to help |
| 277s | players on them progress and check out |
| 280s | everything Lost Ark has to offer with |
| 282s | special gifts increased experience some |
| 285s | really unique events to really jump |
| 287s | start their Adventure into Arcadia if |

| 296s | all right let's talk about some of the |
| 298s | new activities and systems coming to |
| 300s | Arcadia |
| 301s | first off we have Primal Island sail |
| 304s | over to Primal Island embrace yourself |
| 306s | you'll have to fight steal and survive |
| 308s | against Fierce competition in a new |
| 311s | Battle Royale style event where you'll |
| 313s | drop into an arena to face off against |
| 315s | other players and hordes of dinosaurs |
| 319s | the goal is to be the last one standing |
| 321s | the arena is open to competitors item |
| 323s | level 1490 and higher but your item |
| 326s | level and stats won't help you here |
| 328s | you'll need to scavenge gear during the |
| 331s | match and upgrade it in real time to |
| 333s | give yourself a fighting chance there's |
| 335s | more details and entry times listed in |
| 338s | the release notes so if you want to |
| 340s | learn more about the Battle Royale check |

| 343s | all right for the next part let's talk |
| 345s | about some intertwined systems that are |
| 348s | all being added together I'm talking |
| 350s | about yaza's jar the new skin crafting |
| 353s | system and our updates to the amethyst |
| 356s | Shard shop I think the best way to |
| 358s | describe this is to hop in game and show |
| 360s | you so let's try out some yaza's jar |
| 363s | polls all right I hopped on my tester |
| 365s | account I've got it loaded up with some |
| 369s | yaz's jars we have both season one and |
| 373s | season two so I'm going to talk through |
| 375s | it while showing it off to you there's a |
| 378s | lot to go through some interconnected |
| 380s | systems and there's some details that I |
| 382s | might not get to while I'm just talking |
| 384s | off the cuff so if you're interested in |
| 387s | learning some of the restrictions on |
| 389s | items you can or can't use or how |
| 391s | certain things interact read the release |
| 393s | notes uh the goal here is to just show |
| 395s | you how it works try out some polls see |
| 398s | what we get |
| 400s | so yaza's jar is a new Cosmetic System |
| 403s | that introduces a ton of skins into the |
| 406s | game both epic and all new legendary |
| 409s | skins which give you an actual a little |
| 412s | bit of a boost to your attack power and |
| 415s | the stats granted uh you can see on your |
| 418s | character menu that when you have skins |
| 421s | they you know have a little bit of |
| 424s | strength you can see here one percent |
| 425s | along with some virtues the legendary |
| 428s | ones will be a teeny bit higher but not |
| 431s | something that gives you an enormous |
| 433s | power bump in combat or anything like |
| 435s | that |
| 436s | so let's check it out so there's two |
| 439s | main components that go into yaz's jar |
| 441s | there's cloth which you can earn from |
| 445s | dismantling skins |
| 447s | and there's the jar itself which |
| 449s | consumes the cloth to roll it into a new |
| 453s | cosmetic so you can see here by |
| 456s | dismantling your existing skins you can |
| 460s | actually earn cloth so let's click |
| 462s | dismantle on these two skins dismantle |
| 464s | them |
| 465s | and there we go we got 14 clock |
| 468s | that's exactly how much cloth you need |
| 470s | to roll a jar so let's give it a try |
| 473s | we have two seasons coming in season one |
| 476s | and season two |
| 477s | uh season one came out a little bit |
| 479s | earlier in Korea so it actually doesn't |
| 481s | have every class you can see here uh |
| 485s | there isn't one for the Slayer to select |
| 488s | so for this video we're gonna be trying |
| 491s | out season two Elite which has the |
| 495s | Slayer skins |
| 497s | so once you right click on the jar |
| 499s | before you do anything you can take a |
| 501s | preview and see what some of your |
| 503s | possible roles are |
| 505s | before you roll you can select the class |
| 508s | and the piece that you're interested in |
| 510s | trying to get so for Slayer I can choose |
| 513s | between trying to roll a weapon skin a |
| 516s | headpiece a chest piece or the legs |
| 520s | uh and of course you can preview how all |
| 522s | of these will look on your characters |
| 524s | both the legendaries and all of the Epic |
| 527s | chances |
| 528s | so let's check it out okay there's the |
| 531s | legendary sword for the Slayer and it |
| 534s | comes in two different colors |
| 537s | we can check out uh you know while we're |
| 539s | still in preview what may be the full |
| 541s | matching set looks like so there's the |
| 543s | head piece we got the chess piece let's |
| 546s | try on the legs and let's give it the |
| 549s | matching sword so no one |
| 550s | comments at me in the Youtube video |
| 554s | um there we go so that's what the whole |
| 555s | Slayer legendary skin set looks like and |
| 559s | on top of that you know there's a ton of |
| 561s | cool epic ones as well |
| 564s | um a lot of different options for |
| 566s | customizing your classes there's you |
| 569s | know just a really wide variety of |
| 571s | different pieces |
| 573s | so with that let's try it out |
| 577s | we have our cloth we have our jar and |
| 580s | now we can try and roll I think first we |
| 583s | can try and roll for the weapon I think |
| 585s | this sword is pretty cool so let's craft |
| 588s | one and see how it goes |
| 592s | all right so for that roll we got an |
| 594s | epic one |
| 596s | and in our version when you get an epic |
| 600s | we've added the ability to gain amethyst |
| 604s | shards along with the skin |
| 607s | we've added a bunch of new options into |
| 609s | the amethyst Shard shop that you can |
| 612s | purchase silver |
| 614s | dies and a bunch of other things from |
| 617s | the shop including the dawn Cosmetics so |
| 620s | more skins uh if you're trying to roll |
| 623s | for the legendaries and you don't get it |
| 625s | we wanted to make it not feel quite as |
| 627s | bad so we partnered with smilegate RPG |
| 630s | to you know make sure that every roll |
| 633s | from yaza's jar still feels exciting and |
| 635s | like you're getting something |
| 638s | foreign |
| 639s | try again see what we get and once I get |
| 642s | enough amethyst shards if we uh keep |
| 645s | rolling we can head over and go to the |
| 648s | amethyst Shard shop and buy something |
| 650s | from there |
| 653s | we have the full odds listed on our page |
| 655s | but you can see that they're also |
| 656s | visible right here in |
| 659s | in the UI so |
| 662s | each we have a five percent chance that |
| 664s | either of these legendary weapons so |
| 666s | together about a 10 chance of rolling a |
| 670s | legendary skin |
| 676s | so far we've gotten a variety of |

| 682s | let's see if we can go ahead and Hyrule |

| 711s | other swords you know we can sell these |
| 713s | on the marketplace we can dismantle them |
| 715s | for more cloth and we got 6 000 amethyst |
| 719s | shards which we can go spend as well so |
| 722s | now let me uh head over and show you |
| 725s | what exactly you can spend your amethyst |

| 733s | so you can head over to the amethyst |
| 735s | Shard Exchange in any of the major areas |
| 737s | and check out some of the different |
| 738s | things that are available |
| 740s | um there's all the classics that have |
| 741s | been there since launch this is |
| 743s | something that we want to refresh on a |
| 745s | yearly basis so you can buy the fiance |
| 748s | this year and then next year you know if |
| 749s | you've accumulated some more amethyst |
| 751s | shards either from yaza's jar or from |
| 754s | the twitch drops or prime gaming drops |
| 756s | that come out you'll have a lot of |
| 759s | options of things to buy |
| 761s | so we have 14 000 we could get you know |
| 765s | a headwear piece of the new dawn skins |
| 767s | if we wanted to we could pick up some |
| 769s | dies to further customize their |
| 772s | character |
| 773s | but I know the thing that I will |
| 774s | probably be buying the most on the live |
| 777s | servers is gonna be these silver packs |
| 780s | each uh each thousand amethyst shards |
| 784s | gets you two regulus's light currency |
| 786s | chess so that's 200 000 silver to |
| 789s | accompany your epic skin |
| 793s | um you can see that there's purchase |
| 794s | limits on some things like the Skins you |
| 797s | know the combat wolf mount |
| 800s | um things like that but there isn't a |
| 802s | purchase limit on the silver ore on the |
| 806s | dies so if you're really into fashion |
| 808s | Arc you're going to be able to you know |
| 811s | be fully fully dressed to the nines |
| 813s | whenever you want or you know if you |
| 816s | like honing like I do you're gonna have |
| 819s | plenty of silver to keep that up as well |
| 822s | though the final interwoven part of this |
| 825s | system is a new ability to craft some |
| 829s | skins uh from the NPC where you have |
| 834s | historically done your dying and |
| 836s | customization |
| 838s | um now you'll be able to unlock skins by |
| 843s | completing achievements so you can see |
| 845s | as a new player haven't completed a lot |
| 848s | of these achievements but there's a lot |
| 850s | of cool skins that you can get the |
| 853s | ability to unlock just by playing Lost |
| 856s | Ark and then you can actually just craft |
| 858s | them with the cloth uh so you know |
| 861s | here's some from we have some from |
| 863s | Walton we have some from vicus related |
| 867s | achievements |
| 868s | so as you progress through lost Arc |
| 870s | you'll be unlocking these and have new |
| 873s | options of crafting Epic |
| 876s | uh and it looks like some rare skins as |
| 879s | well so far we have one unlocked which |
| 881s | is uh completing the prologue without |
| 884s | skipping and we can craft these |
| 887s | artheentinian Engineers goggles first |
| 890s | six cloth |
| 892s | so you can craft those right away and |
| 895s | have you know access to a bunch of new |
| 898s | cosmetics |

| 1045s | stones of chaos are now roster bound |

| 1051s | let's talk about the end game raid |
| 1053s | updates we work with smilegate RPG to |
| 1056s | integrate the changes to vicus bralshaza |
| 1059s | and kiangle as soon as possible to make |
| 1062s | them less daunting for new players |
| 1064s | especially those on jumpstart servers |
| 1066s | and to keep them fun as veteran players |

| 1071s | changes but here are some of the most |
| 1072s | important ones and a quick note these |
| 1075s | apply to normal mode and hard mode but |
| 1077s | not Inferno mode |
| 1080s | vikas Gate 1 has been removed so no more |
| 1083s | fighting morph just vikas herself |
| 1086s | gate 2 and gate 5 have been removed and |
| 1091s | gate 6 which is now gate four after the |
| 1093s | changes can be cleared once every two |
| 1096s | weeks anyone who's played it knows that |
| 1099s | it's a very epic but also very long |
| 1101s | fight so we hope this helps with players |
| 1103s | not feeling too overloaded with having |
| 1106s | to do too many raids on a weekly basis |
| 1109s | for triangle Gate 1 has been removed as |
| 1112s | well |
| 1113s | and across all of these raids and |
| 1115s | Dungeons and activities with some gates |
| 1118s | being removed gold has been adjusted for |
| 1121s | a ton of raids so check out the full |
