| 9s | the end game there's so many things that |
| 11s | you could do in Lost Ark and certainly |
| 13s | no right or wrong way to do it but if |
| 16s | you are looking for some direction or |
| 18s | want to be more efficient with your |
| 19s | progression you can think Amazon games |
| 21s | for sponsoring this video let's begin |
| 25s | after completing the tutorial and |
| 27s | selecting your class you'll eventually |
| 29s | enter the city of Pride home if you open |
| 31s | your map by pressing M and zoom out by |
| 33s | right-clicking you'll see that you're in |
| 35s | the rathramus region your goal is to |
| 38s | complete the main story questline until |
| 40s | you reach the north Vern region and hit |
| 42s | Level 50. after reaching North Vern |
| 44s | you'll be able to start your dailies and |
| 46s | get your first Tier 1 set of gear |
| 48s | upgrade your Tier 1 gear to the eye |
| 50s | level that's required to continue the |
| 52s | main story questline which will lead you |
| 54s | to yarn where you'll get your tier 2 set |
| 56s | then eventually to punica where you'll |
| 58s | get your tier 3 set completing only the |
| 60s | main story quest line will give you |
| 62s | enough experience to hit Level 50 and |
| 64s | enter North Fern you can skip yellow |
| 67s | quests if you wish to level faster you |
| 69s | can always come back to them later for |
| 71s | full map completion which can be tracked |
| 73s | by hitting n note that the main story |
| 75s | questline will be represented by an |
| 77s | orange Quest marker but will change to a |
| 80s | blue Quest marker once arriving in |
| 82s | tortoise after hitting level 50 and |
| 85s | reaching North Vern you'll unlock your |
| 87s | main dailies that you'll continue to do |
| 88s | throughout the rest of your Lost Art |
| 90s | Journey keep in mind that all dailies |
| 93s | have what's called a rest bonus which is |
| 94s | represented by a green filled bar you |
| 97s | see here tldr if you skip your dailies |
| 99s | you'll stack rest bonus which gives you |
| 101s | more loot the next time you do it the |
| 103s | first daily is the chaos dungeon this |
| 105s | dungeon crawler-like instance drops |
| 107s | Unbound gear enhancement mats as well as |
| 110s | gear itself chaos dungeons also notably |
| 112s | provide silver and shards which we'll |
| 115s | talk more about later note you can |
| 117s | dismantle any extra piece of gear you |
| 119s | get and it will turn into more |
| 121s | enhancement mats the second daily is the |
| 123s | guardian raid these are your boss |
| 125s | hunter-like raids where your goal is to |
| 128s | find and defeat the boss before the |
| 130s | timer runs out these raids can drop rare |
| 132s | runes but are mainly for the gear |
| 134s | enhancement mats namely the destruction |
| 136s | and Guardian Stones along with |
| 138s | leapstones all of these mats are Unbound |
| 141s | and can be shared amongst all of your |
| 143s | characters or sold on the auction house |
| 145s | keep in mind you can queue into these |
| 147s | from anywhere by hitting alt Q the third |
| 150s | daily that will unlock are your una |
| 152s | tasks hit Alt J to open the UNA menu and |
| 155s | select one you'd like to complete you |
| 157s | can select up to three dailies per day |
| 158s | and three weekly per week as a new |
| 161s | player for now I'd suggest just picking |
| 163s | the ones that offer you the most |
| 165s | leapstones there is more to the system |
| 167s | as you gain something called reputation |
| 169s | which is needed to unlock some important |
| 171s | time getting items but for the purpose |
| 173s | of this quick new player guide we'll |
| 175s | talk about that another time these three |
| 177s | dailies will be the majority of your |
| 179s | daily progression moving forward in |
| 181s | addition to this there are also world |
| 183s | events that you can track by hitting the |
| 185s | blue timer button on the far left side |
| 188s | of the screen each day there are |
| 189s | different events that spawn on the hour |
| 191s | progressing in this game requires |
| 194s | attaining higher item level which is |
| 196s | done by enhancing your gear in order to |
| 199s | upgrade your gear head to a gear honing |
| 201s | NPC in any major town represented by a |
| 204s | hammer on the map there are six major |
| 207s | things you'll need to enhance or hone as |
| 209s | we call it guardian or destruction |
| 211s | Stones shards Leaf Stones fusion |
| 216s | material silver and gold first you'll |
| 219s | upgrade your gear experience by |
| 221s | consuming shards respective to your tier |
| 223s | and paying silver once at 100 click gear |
| 226s | honing which pulls up another menu |
| 228s | showing you your honing success rate |
| 230s | along with additional materials you can |
| 232s | add to attempt to increase your chances |
| 235s | of success failing a hone will increase |
| 237s | your Artisan's energy and when hitting a |
| 239s | hundred percent you'll have a 100 |
| 241s | guaranteed success rate on your |
| 243s | following attempt the additional |
| 245s | materials will also increase the amount |
| 247s | of Artisans energy you gain upon failure |
| 249s | the next thing to learn are your |
| 251s | Engravings in Lost Ark every class has |
| 254s | two different class specific specs along |
| 257s | with General specs that any class can |
| 259s | use these specs in Lost Arc are called |
| 262s | Engravings if you hit alt I you'll bring |
| 264s | up a menu that shows all of the |
| 266s | Engravings in this menu you'll be able |
| 268s | to track the engraving recipes you have |
| 271s | learned for each one in order to learn |
| 273s | these you'll receive and or buy |
| 275s | engraving recipes throughout your |
| 277s | journey that you can simply consume |
| 279s | engraving recipes have four tiers |
| 282s | uncommon which are green rare being blue |
| 285s | epic being purple and legendary being |
| 288s | yellow each tier requires 20 books of |
| 291s | consumption in that consuming 20 books |
| 293s | will unlock the engraving to the next |
| 295s | tier where you'll need 20 blue and so on |
| 298s | each engraving has three levels to them |
| 301s | which increases their effectiveness per |
| 303s | level in order to unlock the effects |
| 305s | you'll need five engraving points per |
| 307s | level a total of 15 points to unlock the |
| 311s | level 3 effect Engravings are equipped |
| 313s | two ways in Lost Art the first is |
| 315s | through your accessory is an ability |
| 317s | Stone the second is by equipping them |
| 319s | directly via recipes ability stones are |
| 322s | next on the list of things to learn |
| 324s | these Stones provide a flat HP bonus but |
| 327s | are mainly for Engraving points you |
| 330s | obtain Stones by completing dailies |
| 332s | weeklies game events or by purchasing |
| 334s | them in the auction house in order to |
| 336s | equip an ability Stone you first need to |
| 339s | cut it to do so go to an ability stone |
| 342s | cutter in any major city in order to cut |
| 344s | these Stones you'll need to understand |
| 346s | the stone cutting game you have three |
| 348s | Engravings on a stone two general |
| 350s | Engravings you want as many points in as |
| 353s | possible with one negative engraving |
| 355s | represented by the red that you want as |
| 357s | few points in as possible the percentage |
| 360s | you see on the right next to success |
| 362s | rate and chance of cracking will always |
| 364s | be the same and simply represents the |
| 367s | odds of success if you hit it will glow |
| 370s | and show plus one representing that you |
| 372s | now have a plus one engraving Point |
| 375s | respectively if you miss it will be |
| 377s | grayed out and you will not have any |
| 379s | points for that engraving each time you |
| 382s | hit the percentage will go down 10 |
| 384s | percent each time you miss the |
| 386s | percentage will go up 10 percent at a |
| 389s | maximum of 75 percent minimum of 25 the |
| 393s | goal is to hit as many on Blue by using |
| 396s | high percentage chances and Miss as many |
| 399s | on red using low percentage Chances with |
| 402s | each click costing a small amount of |
| 404s | silver generally speaking when equipping |
| 406s | Engravings you usually want to start out |
| 409s | with the ability Stone first due to its |
| 412s | RNG nature you cannot purchase pre-cut |
| 415s | Stones the last thing to know about is |
| 417s | the gearing transfer process when |
| 419s | transitioning gear sets for example from |
| 421s | Tier 1 to tier 2 you'll go to the same |
| 424s | gear honing NPC but this time selecting |
| 426s | the gear transfer button from here you |
| 429s | will be able to transfer your current |
| 430s | gear piece into the higher tier note |
| 433s | there will be no questline that gives |
| 435s | you a full tier 2 or tier 3 set so |
| 438s | you'll have to get them through your |
| 440s | chaos dungeons after getting your full |
| 442s | tier 3 set in punica you should be |
| 444s | sitting at 30 1302 eye level from here |
| 447s | you'll repeat your dailies and continue |
| 448s | to push your character to the first |
| 450s | major threshold 1370 eye level which is |
| 454s | plus 15 on all pieces this will open up |
| 457s | two new raid instances that you can do |
| 459s | once per week array has well hard and |
| 462s | Argos orea's well heart has two |
| 464s | instances that will each drop mats that |
| 467s | you will use to craft your yellow |
| 468s | legendary gear set there is an array as |
| 471s | normal that you can do at 1340 but don't |
| 473s | worry about that just prioritize the |
| 476s | 1370 hard mode both raids will pay out |
| 479s | gold and offer you the option to |
| 481s | purchase extra mats after each gate as a |
| 484s | new player you 100 want to purchase |
| 487s | these if you're having trouble |
| 488s | completing these raids you do have the |
| 490s | option to always pay a more geared |
| 493s | player to carry you through them paying |
| 495s | a gold fee which is usually less than |
| 497s | the amount of gold you make from the |
| 499s | raid is called busing and lost art be |
| 502s | sure to let the group leaders know that |
| 504s | you are a new player there and they |
| 505s | should walk you through the process you |
| 508s | also always have the option to create |
| 509s | your own group to learn the raid be sure |
| 512s | to write learning party in the title if |
| 514s | you are able to complete both orea |
| 516s | instances and all three gates of Argos |
| 519s | you should have enough mats to craft a |
| 521s | full legendary set go to the craft Abyss |
| 524s | equipment and PC in punica and you'll be |
| 526s | able to craft your set you'll want to |
| 529s | craft the weapon piece along with three |
| 531s | other armor pieces from The Chosen set |
| 533s | which will consume the oreja crafting |
| 536s | mat Imperium Dawn then craft the |
| 539s | remaining pieces you need for either the |
| 541s | pre-ordained or harsh oath set which |
| 543s | will consume the Argos crafting mat |
| 546s | Argos blood as a general rule of thumb |
| 548s | Support classes go harsh oath while DPS |
| 551s | classes usually go preordained if you do |
| 555s | not need any more legendary gear pieces |
| 557s | dismantle these mats and you'll get |
| 559s | leapstones in return once you've crafted |
| 562s | your legendary set you'll want to fuse |
| 564s | your current 1370 set into the new |
| 567s | legendary one just as you did with your |
| 570s | previous gear sets when transitioning to |
| 572s | the next tier doing so will bring your |
| 574s | plus 15 status down to plus six while |
| 577s | maintaining the same eye level overall |
| 579s | from here a soft reset in enhancement |
| 582s | rates will be applied making your |
| 584s | initial upgrade rates faster the next |
| 586s | Milestone is to hit plus 15 on your |
| 589s | legendary set which will put you at 1415 |
| 592s | eye level unlocking the first major |
| 594s | Legion raid vulton from 1415 eye level |
| 598s | each upgrade will now give you plus 15 |
| 601s | eye level 1415 unlocks vault in normal |
| 604s | and the ability to equip Relic |
| 606s | accessories 1430 unlocks Ficus normal |
| 610s | 1445 unlocks Vault and hard plus the |
| 613s | ability to craft and equip your Relic |
| 616s | set 1460 unlocks Vic is hard |
| 620s | 1475 unlocks kakul sedon normal and the |
| 623s | ability to upgrade your Relic set to |
| 625s | level 2. and finally 1490 where you |
| 628s | unlock the ability to do brochures and |
| 630s | normal content which lets you hit |
| 632s | another soft reset in gear upgrades for |
| 635s | future content to expand on this there |
| 638s | are two milestones in particular with |
| 641s | extra significance the first being 1415 |
| 644s | allowing you to equip Relic accessories |
| 646s | and stones in turn letting you build |
| 649s | your character for end game the second |
| 651s | major Milestone is hitting 1445 allowing |
| 655s | you to upgrade your legendary gear to |
| 657s | the orange Relic set this set is |
| 660s | significantly stronger than all sets |
| 662s | prior due to its passives most classes |
| 665s | unlock their full potential only when |
| 668s | they are in their full Relic set final |
| 670s | here are a few points of info that you |
| 673s | should know before closing this section |
| 674s | out number one Legion raids you can only |
| 678s | do three Legion raids per character per |
| 680s | week number two you may only earn gold |
| 683s | rewards from six characters on your |
| 686s | roster number three hitting 14 15 eye |
| 689s | level will remove the gold reward from |
| 692s | that character when doing oreja number |
| 694s | four hitting 1470 eye level will remove |
| 698s | the gold reward from that character when |
| 700s | doing Argos before rounding this video |
| 703s | out here are some additional points of |
| 704s | information that's important to know |
| 707s | stronghold or housing as it's more |
| 709s | commonly known as has a big place in |
| 712s | Lost Arc it is possible to increase your |
| 714s | honing success rates and lower the cost |
| 717s | of your hunting attempts by researching |
| 719s | it in the stronghold lab you must have |
| 721s | one character reach a certain eye level |
| 723s | to unlock this along with a high enough |
| 726s | stronghold level you can also use the |
| 729s | training feature in your stronghold to |
| 731s | passively level up additional characters |
| 733s | Lost Ark has a lot of content there are |
| 736s | other areas in the game that you can |
| 738s | complete giving you additional honing |
| 740s | mats and more for example there's Tower |
| 743s | Boss Rush even kakul rehearsal but |
| 746s | unfortunately we don't have the time to |
| 748s | go through everything in this video but |
| 751s | here's a list of notable content you |
| 753s | should look out for |
| 754s | with that the final thing I'll mention |
| 756s | is the current hyper express pass that |
| 759s | will go on through February 8 2023. this |
| 762s | pass can be applied to any 1302 eye |
| 765s | level character and super boosts your |
| 767s | progression allowing you to hit 1445 eye |
| 771s | level very quickly at a fraction of the |
| 774s | cost this is a huge catch-up mechanic |
| 776s | for new players and should be taken |
| 778s | advantage of as it's not always |
| 780s | available and that covers everything you |
| 783s | need to know as a new player progressing |
| 785s | to the end game there are obviously a |
| 787s | ton of other things that lost ark has to |
| 789s | offer as much as we covered in this |
