6s	Welcome back to another episode of Patch Notes with Henry.
9s	I'm joining you here from Prideholme this week, collecting different backgrounds like there're Mokoko seeds in this video series.
18s	Today I'm bringing you the Voldis Wonderland update release notes.
23s	We're going to go through some of the top pieces of content and different general changes arriving in this update.
30s	One important thing to remember before we dive in, though, is we got a two parter update this month.
35s	So we have the Voldis Wonderland update releasing this week on December 13th.
41s	And then next week, we're going to have another update on December 20th that layers in some of the endgame content.
47s	So this is going to be primarily focused on everything arriving on December 13th.
51s	Let's get into it.
53s	So obviously, one of the biggest pieces of content arriving this update is the new continent of Voldis.
58s	It's going to require item level 1520 or above to participate in.
63s	And it's a really, really cool new environment to explore.
67s	It's the continent filled with sages, alchemy; it has a magnificent city called Kalinar that you can explore.
75s	The city is always bustling with tourists seeking advice from the renowned Sages, has a fantastic view and is full of a new type of NPC or creature called Homunculi that you'll encounter.
89s	And they're dashing to and fro as they run citizens' errands.
94s	The Sages are also a key part of Voldis, and a key group that you'll interact with throughout this story.
100s	They delve into the many secrets regarding alchemy, the human body, how to improve that [spoiler alert] for elixirs and also the mind.
110s	They're well-respected for their vast knowledge and powers.
113s	And with the Chaos Guardians and other threats returning, their aid will be more than helpful in the upcoming war.
120s	Outside of the city, there's a great rainforest that you will be able to explore through as you venture through this story.
128s	There's powerful monsters lurking in the shadows and also a forest people that you will work with as you complete and reach the end of the story.
139s	So like I mentioned before, to experience Voldis, you'll need to reach item level 1520 and complete some prerequisite quests.
147s	Those are going to be the Pleccia World quests: "Twilight Hill", the Voldis Prelude Quest: "Shattered Sea's Cradle" and then you will receive the quest, Kalinar "City of Sages" at the Macaboa Port in Voldis to start that and after the story's ended in Voldis, you can complete your Adventurer's Tome, epilogue quests and notably, Voldis also introduces a new field boss named Drakus, a 1610 Chaos Gate and a 1610 Chaos Dungeon.
180s	There's a ton of other stuff that Voldis will include new Rapport NPCs, new cards, new wandering merchant, new merchant ship.
190s	There's a bunch of increases in various collectibles like World Tree Leaves, Omnium Stars, Mokoko Seeds.
198s	There's just like an absolute ton that you're going to be able to experience in this new continent.
204s	You know that it's layering into the game.
206s	And that's one of the reasons why the endgame update is going to arrive a week later after this.
212s	I just wanted to throw in another reminder there that the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon and Elixir System will be coming a week after Voldis does.
224s	We've also added in some additional systems regarding Voldis, such as some stronghold research and also the Voldis Knowledge Transfer.
232s	So once you've completed on one of your characters, you can knowledge transfer your other characters that are ready to do the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon next week.
241s	So we mentioned some of the 1610 item level content arriving in this update.
246s	Another piece is going to be the new Gargadeth Guardian Raid.
250s	Gargadeth is a powerful guardian who can control the weather and stormed onto the battlefields of the Chain War long ago.
257s	The thickening energy of chaos brought Gargadeth back from a long slumber, and he's now possessed by chaotic energy.
265s	Gargadeth shows aggression towards all living beings.
267s	So beware the fierce tempest summoned by him.
270s	Once you get swept up into the thunderous storm, you might not find your way back to reality.
275s	Gargadeth is going to be the second Purification One Guardian and can be challenged by players at or above item level 1610 in the new Shadowed Swamp of Silence map.
285s	Players can earn honing materials, accessories and have a chance to drop the legendary Galewind rune that's obtained through Purification One Guardians.
294s	Gargadeth also brings a few new achievements, new card and should be a fun new challenge for players looking to switch it up from fighting Sonavel over and over again.
305s	So we talked about the new continent that's arriving and the new Guardian Raid.
310s	For PvP players, we do have some content for you as well.
313s	Season Four of Competitive Proving Grounds will be launching so you can prove you're one of the best warriors in Arkesia as you earn season ranks, rewards, and prestige.
323s	In Season Four, MMR values are going to undergo a little bit of a soft reset at launch, and the requirements for the different ranks in PvP have been adjusted. 362s	There's three updates there.
364s	We have one event ending.

376s	And then we have an all new event, which is the Freja Island event.
380s	It's a new seasonal event and you're going to be able to find out if you have been good in this year in the new Naughty or Nice Maze where you can earn rewards, You're going to be able to enter that event every even hour.
394s	So like 2 p.m., 4 p.m., et cetera.
397s	And you can do that once per roster per day.
401s	You can also just earn the tokens from clearing Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids.
406s	If you're more focused on your dailies and spending, you know, the next week getting ready for the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon, for example.
414s	But tokens from the event can be spent at the event shop, which has a variety of valuable items, holiday themed rewards, and special event feast items will also be helpful in prog(ression) come that new raid.
430s	The Freja Island event is going to last all the way through to the February update and we have a few new activities that are going to be arriving in January as well.
442s	So on to the store updates.
444s	We have two new special holiday inspired cosmetic collections.
450s	We'll have the videos playing for both of those in just a second.
453s	The first one is going to be the Starry Galaxy Cosmetic Collection, which also just released in Korea.
460s	So we're really excited to be able to bring that at basically the same time as Korea.

568s	Cool, so those were the that was the Starry Galaxy one that just released in Korea.
572s	On top of that, we also have another collection from a previous holiday, which is going to be the Festive and Eve Cosmetics collection.

613s	And on top of that, we're going to be adding a new Arc Pass with this update.
618s	So this is going to be the Royal Guard Ark Pass.
621s	And we'll have all the classic rewards for free players.
626s	And then we'll also have the premium tier and the super premium tier on top of that.
630s	While the free pass and the premium pass layer in valuable rewards like honing materials, pheons, card packs, all that stuff that you need to power up your characters in the Lost Ark, the super premium is the one that's going to come with the new Royal Guard Cosmetics.
649s	And we have a video prepared for that as well.

685s	Let's go through some rapid fire General Updates.
689s	So I'm just going to launch through these.
691s	We're extending the max cap and adding rewards for Mokoko seeds, World Tree Leaves, Omnium Stars, Sea Bounties and Ignea Tokens.
701s	We're adding the Fifth Forbiddance of the Ebony Cube and tickets for that are going to be able to be earned in the 1610 Chaos Dungeon introduced with Voldis or in the new Sage Entrance Ticket Chest that's available in exchange for Blood Stones.
718s	With the release of Voldis, content that rewards legendary card packs two will be replaced with legendary card packs three.
726s	This includes the end-game content, Transmuted Reward Chest, Chaos Dungeons, Challenge Abyssal Dungeons, Adventure Islands.
736s	Next Update, Awakening skills will no longer require Awakening Chaos Shards.
741s	Awakening Chaos Shard items will be removed from quests, Power Pass Rewards, the Codex and the General Merchant NPC.
751s	The item name will be changed to Chaos Shard due to the changes in its usage.
754s	For people that have stocked up on shards, those that were purchased from an NPC but not used yet will be auto exchanged for silver. The item name will be changed to Chaos Shard due to the changes in its usage.

767s	And then if you bought shards from the Auction House or if they were obtained through Event Rewards, those will not be auto exchanged for those shards.
