As a parent with small children and a busy life I’m very thankful for the existence of MTGA since it allows me to play my favorite card game. Since it was Thanks giving weekend and I heard a speech about how important it is to be grateful for what we have I thought I would go through that exercise:

I’m thankful for MTG and for Richard Garfield for creating it.

I’m thankful for computers, the internet, the iPhone, MTGO, Hearthstone, and all the other technologies and digital innovations that led to the creation and business value of MTGA.

I’m thankful for the people who put the money to create MTGA, even though I might not approve of all their business practices, since without them we wouldn’t have anything at all.

I’m thankful for the developers and all the hours of hard work and crunch time they have put to deliver us this service.

I’m thankful for the designers who came up with BO1 so that I can play a quick game of magic that fits the time I have in my life.

I’m thankful for the progression in MTG that makes it easy to gather cards through drafting and gather resources to draft just from playing.

And I’m thankful for having a respectful place where people can post their thoughts and ideas.

Thanks everyone.

And we are thankful for you and for all of our players - without you, there is no game! I'm especially thankful that you and so many others care enough about the game to tell us how you feel. I'm also thankful that I get the chance to bring new and fun experiences to people who love Magic, and to bring new players into our world where they can ultimately find the part of the game that they love and that fits them just right (whether that's on Arena or not).

I hope your weekend has been great, and that you're feeling good as we head into the final stretch of the year. We'll be here trying to bring you the fastest, funnest, most convenient digital Magic experience that we can.
