Even if opponent controls enchanted Reflection, the original creature still untaps. Just lost the draft game to this bug.

External link →Reflection is a Creature subtype. One with the Stars makes the enchanted permanent lose the Creature type, so it also loses all Creature types. Therefore what it enchants will no longer be a Reflection, subtype-wise, which is what Aliros is looking for. #wotc_staff
Isn't Reflection also a creature name? How do we differentiate whether subtype or name is mentioned?
"Control a [word]" means "control a permanent with type/subtype of [word]". Otherwise it would say a "control a permanent named Reflection", such as [[Pack Mastiff]] does.
Not directly related to the OP's question, but I just wanted to give a small thanks for being so active on the subreddit. I'm coming from HS (though I played paper magic like 20 years ago) and getting communication from them outside of 2 weeks before an expansion up until the expansion is all but impossible, yet I see you post all the time.
Little things like that make me reevaluate where my discretionary spending goes in your favor.
What can I say, I like talking about rules and about how we've fixed bugs :D. Thanks for the kind words. #wotc_staff
