Hello there!

There have been a couple reported issues with this release that are affecting some players.

There is an issue with resetting daily/weekly quests that Wizards has discussed here: https://forums.mtgarena.com/forums/threads/60220/comments/359964

There appears to be either a visual or distribution bug for the renewal awards.

There appears to be some issues with the Mastery system:

https://forums.mtgarena.com/forums/threads/60232

Update - We have temporarily disabled the Eldraine Mastery system to address issues with Quest and Weekly Win resets. As a result, players will also be unable to earn Weekly Win and Quest rewards at this time.

The Mastery system should be re-enabled at approximately 10:30 a.m. PT. We'll update you with more information once it becomes available.

There appears to be some related store issues for some users in some regions; this has happened before with high-volume purchases on release day. No further information has yet been published.

The game remains in maintenance: https://magicthegatheringarena.statuspage.io/

Please discuss these happenings here.

Final Update:

Verifying - We have resolved the issue with Quests, Weekly Wins, and Renewal Rewards. All players should have three Quests (including Quests in-progress prior to this update) and 0/15 Weekly Wins. Affected players should restart their game client at this time.

We are continuing to monitor the situation to ensure there are not further issues. Thank you for your patience!

Bonecrusher giant is bugged, same bug as legion warboss, won't let me respond to it being played. Already lost a game because of it.

And yes, I know I can't prevent the damage, I should be able to buff my creature to save it.

I'm confused about the issue you're seeing.

Are you not getting priority in response to the adventure, Stomp?

Is it that you are not getting priority after it resolves? If so, that IS the expected Arena behavior - when the stack is empty in a phase where Arena doesn't normally provide priority, it wants to pass. What action did you want to performs after Stomp resolved? Could you have performed it before it resolved? If not, could you put a stop on the phase or enter full control to perform your action after it resolved?

The problem that we solved for Legion Warboss is that there are a number of actions you can ONLY perform after Legion Warboss has resolved (e.g. Murder) that, if you don't get priority when the stack empties, it will be too late to perform the next time Arena gives you priority. I'm wracking my brain trying to think of actions that are similar for the Stomp case. #wotc_staff

Yes, this is what happened. It wouldn't let me interrupt his playing of that instant.

What did you want to respond with? Was there any chance that some ability was stopping you from performing that action, like Teferi, Time Raveler? This will help me investigate. #wotc_staff
