And I’ve become really addicted and really enjoy the game, so I wanted to know about any tips, tools, etc? Like with packs in the store, is there a specific one I should be spending my gold on? Are there any common rookie mistakes? Also any deck tips would be helpful too as mine is till pretty novice-ish I suppose and I’d like to improve it since some players just really give me the shaft sometimes.

It's the (imo) best introduction to MTG and even experienced players can learn something from it if they read it again after some time.

We agree; this is a great guide. For handy reference, it’s linked in the “Learn More” page in-game (the little ‘?’ In the top-right of the home screen).
