The Moderation Team is excited to preview a brand new Arena play area that will be rolled out with the upcoming WAR update! Check out this really cool new board with a new interesting theme: Check it out here!
The battlefield itself is set on top of the Bolas's Citadel after the Elderspell has been cast. Wizards has updated most of the background 'clickables' - it now showcases things like the Planar Beacon and Immortal Sun. There a few other easter eggs that players should look for as well.
We hope this sparks (pun intended) your imagination for the new set and all the new ways to play the game we all love. Wizard's continuing efforts to update the cosmetic features of the game, including new play area designs like this one, are increasingly part of the Arena experience and new set roll-outs. The Moderation Team thanks the Wizards Community Team for their efforts to bring something cool and unique to our subreddit; and we look forwards to next Thursday, April 25th, for the full WAR set release on Arena!
