Just ran into an issue that seems exclusive to Chandra, Awakened Inferno and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God.
My opponent used Chandra's -X ability (they chose X = 2) on my commander, Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God.
After the ability resolved, I'm unable to select the option to place my commander into my command zone (no prompt). The game is paused, presumably waiting for me to select an option to place Nicol Bolas in the command zone/exile.
My opponent can't do anything but emote (and same for me) until I time out and Nicol Bolas gets exiled.
Once Nicol Bolas is exiled, the game resumes as normal with no delay (can not be placed in command zone).
I tried reconnecting to see if that would bring the prompt up, but it didn't help. The connection seems normal, as I could still emote with my opponent (and vice versa).
When going to 'Submit a Bug', it appears other people have run into the same issue here, here and here with the exact same circumstances since October 2019.
All log files involve Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God being exiled by Chandra, Awakened Inferno. Not sure why it's specifically Nicol Bolas that runs into an issue here.
Not sure how well the bug reports go in-game (might be ignored), but I occasionally see developers comment here; so hoping that the message can reach one of them.
Edit: Does the hyphen in Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God's name mess up the game?
Update: It looks like Chandra doesn't even need to use her -X ability to bug out the game. I just played Chandra (as commander) against Nicol Bolas (opponent) and killed their Nicol Bolas with a Mobilized District.
My opponent ran into the same bug without using Chandra's -X ability to kill it. It has something to do with Chandra and Nicol Bolas on the field at once.
