As announced on March 13th, the dev team is in the process of implementing updates to Apocalypse’s abilities. We are working quickly and aim to have these improvements live in the game by end-of-day Friday, March 17th. Below is the current list of updates, but there could be additional changes before going live. We’ll continue to keep you updated on any related news.

Apocalypse:

Change in italics

  • Traits: Villain, Global, Mutant, Support

Basic - The Alpha

  • Gain Offense Up and Speed Up.
  • Heal for 5% of this character's Max Health.
  • Attack primary target for 400% damage + 100% Drain.
  • When this character performs a Counterattack or Assist, if Charged, apply Stun to that character and clear Charged on this character.
  • This attack is Unavoidable and cannot be blocked.

ISO - 8/Counter Attack/Assists:

  • Gain Offense Up and Speed Up.
  • Heal for 5% of this character's Max Health.
  • Attack primary target for 250% damage + 17% Piercing + 100% Drain.
  • If Charged, apply Stun on the target and clear Charged on this character.
  • This attack is Unavoidable and cannot be blocked.

Special - Seismic Sands

  • Energy Cost: 6/6
  • Attack primary target for 350% Piercing + 100% Drain + apply +1 Ability Block, up to a maximum of 2.
  • Attack all adjacent targets for 350% Piercing + 100% Drain.
  • Redistribute your total squad health evenly.
  • Do the following for this character, all HORSEMAN allies, and 2 non-HORSEMAN allies with the highest Damage:
  •  > Clear all negative effects.
  •  > Apply +1 Defense Up, up to a maximum of 2.
  •  > Apply Safeguard and Immunity.
  • This attack ignores Defense Up.

Ultimate - The End is Here

  • Energy Cost: 8/10
  • Clear Barrier on all enemies.
  • Attack all enemies for 500% damage + 100% Drain..
  • Flip Defense Up on all enemies. Flip 2 random positive effects into negative effects on all enemies.
  • Apply Trauma to all enemies.
  • Become Empowered. On Empowered, fill Speed Bar for self by 60% + 10% for each HORSEMAN ally.
  • This attack is unavoidable and cannot be Blocked or counterattacked.

Passive - The First Mutant

  • This character cannot be revived.
  • The Speed of this character and each ally can only be reduced by Slow.
  • At the start of any match, enemy characters cannot spawn with Safeguard.
  • On Spawn, gain Safeguard, Immunity, and Charged.
  • On Stun, clear Stun and Heal Block, then Heal for 20% of this character's Max Health.
  • Lower the Focus of the first enemy to take the first turn of the match by 200%.
  • When this character drops below 50% Health for the first time:
  • > Fill this character's Speed Bar by 50%.
  • > Heal for 30% of this character's Max Health.
  • Gain +50% Max Health.
  • Gain +40% chance to Counterattack + 15% for each VILLAIN or HORSEMAN ally.
  • Gain +20% Focus for each ally.
  • Gain +100% Accuracy.
  • In ARENA or WAR, all allies gain +100% Accuracy.

Empowered Basic - The Omega

  • Gain Offense Up and Speed Up.
  • Heal for 5% of this character's Max Health.
  • Attack primary target for 400% damage + 100% Drain and 60% of target's Max Health.
  • This attack ignores Deathproof and passives that trigger when a character drops below a certain Health.
  • When this character performs a Counterattack or Assist, if Charged, apply Stun to that character and clear Charged on this character.
  • Characters killed by this attack cannot be revived.
  • Clear Empowered.
  • This attack is Unavoidable and cannot be blocked or counterattacked.
