Today,, we're giving you a peek inside an ominous laboratory that houses enticing rewards and a deadly new S.T.R.I.K.E. operative. And after a view of the dark side of science, we've got the new location of a high-flying Secret Avenger, a Legendary Event screaming back for a return, multiple Blitzes, and Bonus Events that'll be a catalyst for victory.

Lab X-Periments

Coming alive on October 22nd at 5:00PM (PDT) is the year's most terrifying event: Lab X-Periments! Available in this workshop of horrors are Lady Deathstrike character shards and other wicked rewards. Here's how you can engineer success with this limited-time event:

Test Subjects Milestone

Scoring: Unleash characters with the limited-time "Pierced Veil" trait (31 available characters) in Blitz or battle in Arena and Raids with any character to earn points toward the Test Subjects Milestone.

• Duration - 24 hours each Milestone for 10 days total
• Win/Lose Arena - 120 points
• Win/Lose Raid - 50 points
• Win Blitz with Trait - 10 points (per character)
• Win Blitz - 25 points
• Win Blitz Sim w/ Trait - 9 points (per character)
• Win Blitz Sim - 12 points

Rewards include Lady Deathstrike shards, Mini Candy, Silver Phase Bits, as well as Advanced, Superior, and Augmented Catalyst Parts.

Mini Candy & Event Store

Embrace your sweet tooth to bite down on sweet rewards. Earn Mini Candy Event Currency via the Test Subjects MMilestone and then trade in your candy in the Event Store to devour scary good rewards, including Lady Deathstrike shards, Silver Phase Bits, and Augmented and Superior Uniques. Items in the Event Store may differ each day or in between Store refreshes, so check back often.

Ancient Pharaoh

Bond Venom with fresh threads endowed with the Ka Stone! The Lab X-Periments Event is your first opportunity to add Venom's "Ancient Pharaoh" Costume to your roster using Silver Phase Bits. Unused Bits will be converted to Costume Credits on November 6th 5:00PM (PDT) at a conversion rate of 60%.

Character Availability

Three characters are carving out new homes for themselves on October 20th at 5:00PM (PDT) that you don't want to miss. First up, Captain America (Sam) is landing in Doom 2-6 and taking the place of Squirrel Girl. You'll need this Secret Avenger to recruit the lethal services of Omega Red, so be sure to stop by this node. But don't go nuts if you're a Squirrel Girl fan because she's scurrying to her new home of Nexus 4-3, replacing Advanced Basic Catalyst Parts. And if you're looking to make Shang-Chi even more powerful, you'll be able to purchase his Red Star promotions from the Elite Store Supplies on October 20th as well.

Returning Legendary Event

We're rolling out the red carpet on October 18th at 5:00PM (PDT) for the royal return of Black Bolt and this Legendary Event, "Unite the Kingdoms." To recruit this Inhuman Blaster to your roster, you'll need the help of the gods -- specifically, a 5-Star Asgardians team. Prep now and your enemies will bow down later.

Upcoming Blitzes

Stand tall in these upcoming Blitzes and you'll add multiple characters to your roster. Rising to the challenge first on October 18th at 5:00PM (PDT) is Stature in the Big Shoes Blitz, where you can stomp enemies in the name of this Pym Tech Protector's shards. Then on October 21st at 5:00PM (PDT), , the Seeing Double Blitz snaps into existence. Overwhelm enemies in battle to earn character shards for Multiple Man, X-Factor's one-man army.

Bonus & Flash Events

Praise Odin, it's time to earn Asgardianian shards! Prepare for Black Bolt's upcoming Legendary Event, “4 Asgard!”! on October 17th at 5:00PM (PDT), where you can earn double character shards in Campaign nodes for Asgardians. Filter your roster by "Asgardian" for a complete list of eligible characters and their node locations.

Then on October 22nd at 5:00PM (PDT), it's time to take the gloves off your Hand team for the Relic Hunt Flash Event. Don't miss your chance to earn piles of Catalysts Parts by sending your Hand team into battle. And to prepare for this lucrative hand-to-hand combat, be sure to check out the Need a Hand?
