Sunfire (images on website)

Set to shine on the Unlimited X-Men team is the powerful Mutant, Sunfire. Alongside Gambit, Dazzler, Fantomex, and their Horseman leader Rogue, this team will be officially ready to tip the scales of judgment in your favor in the Cosmic Crucible game mode. Now, put on sunblock, and let’s meet the bright new teammate for the Unlimited X-Men… 

Shiro Yoshida was born with a Mutant power that enables him to absorb solar radiation and convert it to plasma. Through this process, he can sheath his body in flames, fly, shoot blasts of plasma, and create a shield made of plasma. After his Mutant powers emerged, Shiro assumed the identity of Sunfire and originally engaged in villainous endeavors. He clashed with some of Earth's most powerful heroes, but he altered his views after seeing the good that the X-Men, Avengers, and other super heroes did for the world. As a hero, Sunfire became Japan's greatest super hero warrior, protecting his community from threats while living a double life as a student at the University of Tokyo. Over the years, Sunfire has fought many times alongside the X-Men and fellow Mutants, but he has also teamed up with the Avengers and Spider-Woman in his pursuit to defend Japan and the world from those that would do it harm.

Sunfire slots into the Unlimited X-Men as a damage-dealing Blaster. Instead of gaining his power from the sun, Sunfire heats up with Offense Up, which his kit revolves around. He gains Offense Up on Spawn in Cosmic Crucible, gains it after each one of his turns, and applies it to his allies. Sunfire’s kit also allows him to use his powerful Ultimate ability twice in quick succession by using his Special ability on turn two, which also gives him 100% Speed Bar.

Asgardian Update

The gods of Asgard were once Helicarrier Defense stalwarts, striking fear into the hearts of attacking forces. Prepare thine trembling knees, mortals, for the Asgardians are poised to return to War Defense supremacy with the upcoming Hero Asgardian team! S.T.R.I.K.E. veterans Thor, Sif, and Heimdall will be joining two newcomers on this new team and their combined might will propel them to victory over some of the most intimidating War teams. We’ll reveal the two new recruits next week, but until then, here’s a look at the ability and stat upgrades that’ll help send foes to the cold embrace of Hel:

Back for its first run since 2019, on June 9th at 5:00PM (PDT) is the Ms. Marvel and Scarlet Witch team up event: Bendy Girl and the Witch. The event will feature updated rewards for several of the missions, so we’ll be sending out an Inbox message with the updated rewards to anyone who has already completed the updated missions. Pride Inferno

Spark roster change on June 8th at 5:00PM (PDT) with the Pride Inferno Event. Dance your way to Disco Balls, Glamour Skates, and Nico Minoru’s “Runaway” Costume with this limited-time opportunity. Please note that Nico’s costume won’t be viewable or purchasable until the Version 6.2 Release goes live, which will occur soon after the end of Pride Inferno.

Do the Orb hustle by earning Pride Orb Fragments from select Campaign nodes and the “All Clear” Daily Objective, then open your Pride Orbs to earn: Nico Minoru shards, Training Modules, and select Origin Gear.

Speed up progress through milestones by winning with characters that have the Brotherhood trait at 5 stars (1,300pts), and go even faster with those at 7 stars (2,950pts)!
