Devour alphas with the one true omega: Omega Red!

Arriving over the course of this release:

  • Enhance your Roster with 3 new playable characters: Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, and Silver Samurai
  • Ability and stats improvements for Wolverine and Sabertooth
  • New costumes: Cyclops - Dawn of X, Wolverine - Weapon X, Venom - Ancient Pharaoh.
  • Assemble your Secret Avengers team, Nick Fury, and Winter Soldier for the Omega Red Mythic Legendary Event, "The Red Death"
  • Form a top squad with the limited-time Honorable trait for the Silver Samurai Event Campaign: Curse of Muramasa
  • New Gear Tier 16: Teal (Augmented) Gear
  • New Doom II Raid: Earn Teal Gear, T2 (Blue) Iso-8, and more with Doom's next challenge for your Alliance.
  • Raid updates: The completion percentage requirement to unlock higher difficulties and earn first-time rewards have been reduced for Alpha IV, Beta IV, and Gamma IV Raids
  • Alliance War Updates: New "War Ready" trait, start with more War Energy, updated room bonuses, more Defensive teams, new "Do Not Attack" toggle, new practice mode, and more! See below for more details.
  • New negative effect: Trauma - Prevents negative effects from being removed or flipped.
  • Suggested device requirements pop-up will now display for devices below our recommended or required device operating system requirements.
  • Gear tier rings have been updated to be more distinct and easily identifiable. Check them out in the roster and hero screens.

Bug Fixes

  • Text update: Nick Fury's Passive ability, "Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.," stated that he gives Coulson Speed Up only on War Defense. It now states he gives Coulson Speed Up in War, to match the actual function.
  • Deathpool's Passive Ability, "Death Comes for All," will now prompt Deathpool to attack if she deals the final blow to an opponent using her Basic, Special, or Ultimate ability.
  • Deathpool's Special Ability, "Danse Macabre," wasn't spreading negative effects if the attack killed its target.
  • Kestrel's Passive ability, "Dimension Hopper,"was sometimes not clearing her Charge at the start of her turn if Kestrel had blocked an enemy Summoned character.
  • Offers containing War Energy Refill and Defense Boost currencies were not being displayed on the Finder screen.
  • Gamora sometimes looked a little funky after Assisting while empowered.
  • When accessing the Saved Squads list, players were placed at the top of the list instead of at their most recently selected squad.
  • When searching for gear, character shards, and other resources using "Find," the Supplies Store was shown as a source when the corresponding Event Store wasn't available.
  • Ghost was sometimes remaining on the enemy side of the battlefield after eliminating an enemy with her Ultimate ability, Quantum Explosion."
  • Visual fix: Extra War Credit icons were displaying outside the victory screen after tapping "Skip."
  • A Doombot was not dropping into battle on Doctor Doom's turn if an enemy Kestrel was defeated by an ally Kestrel's Passive ability.

Alliance War Updates

Practice Mode

  • Test out team compositions and War battle strategies by practicing against your Alliance's War Defense teams during peacetime.
  • Room bonuses are not active during Practice Mode battles

War Energy

  • Players will now start a War with 4 War Energy (previously 2)
  • The War Energy cap was raised from 5 to 10.
  • With the higher starting value, players now earn a total of 10 free War Energy over the course of one War.

Iso-8 & "War Ready" Trait

  • New "War Ready" trait gives characters boosted stats when defending the Hangar or Cargo Bay in Alliance War
  • Any character equipped with T1 Level 4 Iso-8 or higher receives the "War Ready" trait.

Room Updates

  • Each player now has 10 slots they can assign Defense teams to (previously 8).
  • Updated Room Bonuses:
    • Cargo Bay: No longer grants random positive effect and now grants +20% to "War Ready" trait characters for all primary stats (Damage, Health, Armor, Focus, Resist).
    • Bridge: Now has the Cargo Bay's former ability of applying 10 random positive effects to its defenders
    • Hangar: Now also grants +10% to all primary stats to characters with the "War Ready" trait.

Boosts & Attacks

  • Players can now boost 5 rooms per War (previously 4)
    • These boosts cost 75, 100, 125, 150, and 150 Defense Boosts, respectively.
  • Players can now attack 4 teams per player in parallel (previously 2). While viewing an enemy room, tap on a player's portrait to view their attackable teams.
  • Alliance officers can now mark rooms as "Do Not Attack." After marking a player as a target, tap on the crosshair icon to toggle it to the "Do Not Attack" icon. Tapping the icon again will clear the indicator.
    • This is purely a tool for visual coordination. The game does not prevent you from attacking the player’s defense teams.

Character Updates

Wolverine

Base stat upgrades:

  • Health +23%
  • Damage +45%
  • Armor +500%
  • Focus +32%
  • Resist +140%
  • Speed +23%

Basic - Adamantium Claws

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 240% Piercing + apply Bleed on Crit.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 240% Piercing + apply 2 Bleed.
  • In WAR, gain Speed Up.

Special - Slice and Dice

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 150% Piercing + apply Bleed on Crit. Chain to 4 targets for 120% Piercing + apply Bleed on Crit.
  • If Phoenix is an ally, the primary target takes 350% Piercing instead.
  • If this character has 1 or more X-MEN allies, all secondary attacks have 100% chance to Crit.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.
  • If this character has 1 or more X-MEN allies, this attack cannot be counterattacked.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 400% Piercing + apply 2 Bleed.
  • Rebound Chain to 5 targets for 120% Piercing + apply 2 Bleed.
  • All secondary attacks have +100% chance to Crit.
  • This attack cannot be counterattacked and cannot be blocked.

Ultimate - Primal Berserker

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 700% Piercing damage. If Colossus is an ally, attack primary target for 800% Piercing damage instead.
  • On Crit, apply Bleed.
  • If this character's Max Health is below 50%:
    • Gain Offense Up for 2 turns.
    • This attack is Unavoidable.

New:

  • If this character's Max Health is below 50%, gain Offense Up for 2 turns.
  • If Omega Red or Colossus are an ally, always gain Offense Up and clear Deathproof from the primary target.
  • Attack primary target for 800% Piercing damage + apply 2 Bleed.
  • This attack is Unavoidable and cannot be blocked.

Passive - Healing Factor

Old:

  • On Turn, Heal for 20% of this character's Max Health.
  • On Death, 5% chance to Revive with 20% of this character's Max Health. If at least one ally is X-MEN, gain an additional 5% chance to Revive.
  • Gain +5% Speed per UNCANNY X-MEN ally. This is applied after any character has taken an action.

New:

  • On Turn, Heal for 20% of this character's Max Health.
  • On dropping below 60% health, gain Offense Up and 2 Deathproof.
  • On Death, 5% chance to Revive with 50% of this character's Max Health.
  • If at least one ally is X-MEN, gain an additional 5% chance to Revive.
  • If at least one ally is WEAPON X, gain an additional 5% chance to Revive.
  • While under 50% Health, gain 100% Block Chance.
  • Gain +5% Speed per UNCANNY X-MEN or WEAPON X ally. This is applied after any character has taken an action.

Sabretooth

Base stat upgrades:

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 340% damage.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 340% damage + flip Defense Up.
  • In WAR:
    • Apply Offense Down to primary target.
    • This attack gains 500% Extra Focus.

Special - Thrash

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 460% damage.
  • If target has Taunt, this ability deals an additional 80% Piercing damage.
  • Attack all adjacent targets for 320% damage.
  • The attack cannot be blocked.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 460% damage + 80% Piercing + apply Offense Down.
  • Attack all adjacent targets for 320% damage + apply Offense Down.
  • If Omega Red is an ally, this attack does an additional 80% Piercing to each target.
  • The attack cannot be blocked.

Ultimate - Blood Rush

Old:

  • Attack primary target for 380% damage + apply Bleed for 2 turns. Chain to 4-5 targets for 330% damage + apply Bleed for 2 turns.
  • Counterattack breaks this Chain.
  • If Magneto or Mister Sinister is an ally, this attack cannot be counterattacked.

New:

  • Attack primary target for 380% damage + apply Bleed for 2 turns.
  • Rebound Chain to 5-6 targets for 330% damage + apply Bleed for 2 turns.
  • If Omega Red is an ally, apply Disrupt to each Hero Protector target with 1000% Extra Focus.
  • This attack cannot be blocked or counterattacked.

Passive - Feral Healing

Old:

  • Gain +5% damage per BROTHERHOOD or MUTANT ally.
  • If Mister Sinister is an ally, gain +20% Crit chance.
  • On Turn, Heal for 15% of this character's Max Health. When this character drops below 50% Health, gain Deathproof.
  • Gain +25% chance to assist on non-attack abilities.
  • Gain +25% chance to assist on non-attack abilities per MARAUDERS ally.

New:

  • On Turn, Heal for 15% of this character's Max Health.
  • When this character drops below 60% Health, gain 2 Deathproof and 2 Deflect.
  • Gain +5% damage per BROTHERHOOD, MUTANT, or WEAPON X ally.
