[2021] Scopely Customer Support in a Nutshell....

So I received a couple arena attempts as compensation from previous bugged arena attempts a few weeks back (invisible IW, unable to attack, the usual scopely bugs, game crashing, anomaly detected stuff).

Today, with the new arena meta rolling in, I decided to burn extra arena attacks to practice and use those extra comped arena attacks. I used all 5 of my dailies and when I got to my 6th, I decided to use my comped attacks. Instead of showing the typical extra 25 cores it would take to engage in an extra attack, it showed 100 cores....

So I emailed support and explained to them my problem with a screenshot (oh you know how thye love those...). I MADE SURE to explain that it wasn't a cooldown problem because it was well over 20 minutes since my last attack (it closer to an hour...). I BEGGED them to read my complaint and not address it as a cooldown issue (as you can see, i've been here before...)

Spoiler: they explained to me how cool downs worked... and closed my support ticket (bunch of geniuses over there). I don't even think they read my complaint. It's hard for it to be a cooldown issue when I hadn't yet attacked in well over the cooldown period.

In that light, I thought I'd ask you all to share your MSF customer service experience so maybe the CMs can read it and actually try to do something about their broken service.

We know it's like pounding our heads against the wall but change has to start somewhere right.....

It's not like this was some complex problem. She could have simply looked into it and seen what happened.... It's pure laziness from top to bottom over there is what it is. I don't even think she read my response... Look this wasn't a big issue but I wish there was some more care towards the players from Scopely. I know you want our money. Maybe just exhibit you care about us just a little.... Might not be a big problem for you but these little problems build up and as we know, it's systemic over there. I play this game in spite of you Scopely...
