My Fellow Commanders! I come to you today from a long hiatus because of the absolute absurdity and outright misleading offer in the store today for the "Mercenary team bundle"
you get two choices
On the left: 14.99 for 100 merc shards of 4 toons
On the Right (1.5 value!!!) 29.99 for 150 merc shards of the same 4 toons.
Let's be clear.. this is not 1.5 VALUE and is a misleading scam.
The dictionary defines "value" as "the monetary worth of something" So in this case they are saying the offer on the right is 1.5 the "monetary worth" of the offer on the left.. This can't be further from the truth.
What You get is 50% more shards (which is where i think they are getting the 1.5 from your paying 2x the price ...This not value. In fact your get 0.75 times the value... here's why:
to make it simpler..
Left base offer: .0375 per shard
Right 1.5 value offer: .0499 per shard this is 75% premium per shard!! how is this a value???
The value foxnext is making more money on you per shard if you spend more and the are spinning as you are getting a better value if you buy the larger offer with more shards when in fact you are paying MORE per shard.
I'm really confused how this is being sold as a Value to player base and I would expect all the content creators and envoy's and anyone out there that promotes this game with a conscious to call out this predatory behavior as what it is.. scummy and false.
