Is this the first time a full team has been required for a non-legendary character?? In the past the new heroic difficulty or hard mode have been gated, but for the initial story mode to be gated for WWII Cap feels bad.
Personally I have rebirth build because I'm a veteran/end game player not new, but I can remember as a new player I was excited for character event campaigns SO MUCH. I was still building toward legendary unlocks, Dark Dimension, and with a small roster it was hard to compete in blitz unlocks.
Like you still had to have the required event tag characters but it was a broad amount of characters not a single specific "NEW" team of 5. That's like a legendary unlock requirement to me, and WWII cap isn't strong enough to deserve that..
Why is it that every character now is so much harder to unlock even the "free" ones like event campaign. There's making profit, and then there's predatory development with only cash in mind. I don't even think players, or feedback are in the top 10 things considered when creating new content at this point.
