[2023] Close to the Breaking Point

I am a 1793 day player with 26.7m TCP. I have never really considered uninstalling because I genuinely enjoy the game. I think Scopely, the community mismanagers, and the mods of the sub are about the worst it gets in gaming but the game is still fun to me. This Kang event is likely going to be my breaking point. I have been doing 6 to 7 rotations a day and if the trend continues, will not get the 100 shards for the unlock. I have plenty of disposable income that I could spend on the game but I refuse to give them a dime. I really don’t understand the strategy when they could be making so much money by not being scummy. Events have continue to get worse, offers are increasing in frequency and price, and drop rates are lowering. 2 shards per orb when a full rotation does not even get a full orb is as low as it gets. Are we nearing the end of the games life?
