UPDATE (1/27, 22:04): Activision assist on Reddit contacted me stating the issue should be resolved. Got all my stuff back as well as enabling 2FA!! Thank you so anyone who commented or upvoted!

TLDR at bottom.

My account was breached and I lost all of my progress. Every single camo, charm, weapon, operator skin, etc... You name it, it’s gone along with my account. Logging into Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Warzone sets me at level 1 with absolutely nothing. As if I never played the games.

On January 16th at 22:12 I received and email stating my activision account password was changed. At 22:24 I received a second email stating I changed the email associated with my account. Initial Emails

As I was driving home from work at the time I did not see these emails right away. Knowing I wasn’t the one making these changes to my account I followed the link in the email stating if you didn’t make these changes to contact support.

Support tells you to create a new account with a different email and link all things you had connected to the old account to the new one. I did that. And submitted the ticket at 22:45 Ticket1

On January 20th at 16:19 I received a response from the no reply activision support stating the account could not be found. Response 1

Not content with the answer I emailed again and reached out via Twitter. Alas, no response. So I opened another ticket. This time going into much further detail and providing the account ID so they could find it easier. Ticket 2

I waited again. Playing other things because why would I play CoD when I have nothing. Receiving another response on January 26th at 11:48. The same automatic email stating the account cannot be found. Response 2

I have over 22 Days played on Modern Warfare alone. I’ve grinded every season to obtain the unlocks, bought most of the battle passes. Bought some in game skins. Unlocked Damascus. So not only did I lose progress in things I unlocked cosmetically. I lost THINGS I PAID REAL MONEY FOR (battle pass unlocks).

I have reached out to support on various platforms. I have received little to no response aside from the no-reply emails. Activision support was responding to people on Twitter to I direct tweeted them. Nothing.

I have spent real time and money on CoD only to have everything wiped. I’m hoping I can get some resolution if this post gets any attention. I feel like I’m shouting into a void. Activision clearly does not care. They have my money. The fact that all these things I grinded for are gone and thing I paid money for are gone as well is saddening.

I have no motivation or desire to play anymore. I’ve unlocked every achievement in MW and all but one in BOCW, but if you looked at my account you’d think I never played.

TLDR: My account was breached and information changed. I’m reset to level 1 with no unlocks in MW and BOCW. I submitted two tickets to Activision support with nothing more than an automated reply. They have been silent.

Is it likely to get your account back when you don’t have access to the email? No idea if I got hacked or not, Yahoo just won’t let me in even if I hit forget password.

I don’t have much evidence, just photos of my highest kill games and a memory of my friends list.

I can't speak for that team or the needed verification processes to declare ownership.

For full transparency, my help in these situations is effectively passing the case number to our support to bump the case up and letting them do their duty.
