Hey everyone! We've been hard at work on the Call of Duty Companion App! Update 2.9.0 is now live on Google Play and the iOS App Store. We've added new features like Battle Pass Gifting, the Store, and Ops Results. We've also heard your feedback about issues you've been reporting for Ops. We've spent time getting to the bottom of these issues so you can have a great experience. See the full patch notes for 2.9.0 below.

  • Battle Pass Gifting - 🎁 Give your friends the gift of up to 100+ unlockable rewards.
  • Store - 🛍️ Check out the latest from the in-game store directly from your phone.
  • Squad Results Screen - 🎖️View results from previous Weekly Tournaments.

Updates

  • Match History - 🔫 Loadout data in Multiplayer Match Details
  • Notifications & Privacy Settings - 🔔 Refreshed look to help you manage the notifications you want.

Fixes

  • Fixed heat maps sometimes not showing hotspot data
  • Fixed privacy policy being clipped on some devices by the bottom bar
  • Improved how lifetime stats are displayed to better reflect in-Game
  • Ops will now show a "Session Expired" error screen if a user needs to relog to see data
  • Ops updated with minor visual improvements & loading states added
  • Fixed Squads with a space character in the name not being joinable
  • Fixed leaving a Squad then restarting the app showing tournament inactive
  • Fixed editing a Squad with an invalid description not showing the correct error
  • Fixed Squad member count showing the wrong count when opened from Tournament screen
  • Fixed the Recent Friend Achievements Home widget showing empty if there's no data
  • Friends Feed now shows a "No Data" error screen if there's no data
  • Minor visual polish, localizations, and performance improvements

Hi, to give the Battle Pass to a friend, go to the Player tab and find the Battle Pass section.

If you already own the Battle Pass, you will see one button with the text "GIFT THE PASS". If not, you will have two buttons - one saying "Purchase Battle Pass" and a small gift button. Tap on the gift box, select the Battle Pass type, and press the "GIFT THE PASS" button below. On the next screen, select which friend you would like to gift to.

Hi, you and your friend need to be Activision friends for seven days before you can gift the Battle Pass. If you recently became friends then you will be unable to gift the Battle Pass. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi. Currently you cannot add cod points in the app. You can add additional Call of Duty points through in-game purchases or through your first-party store.
