Why is everyone complaining about this? Way way way back IW said this tomogunchi was going to be a thing that your kills in the game would feed the pet in the watch and it would evolve as you play. This isn't new it's not like IW said "get guys remember that thing from the 90's that stupid pet thing? let's put that in the game" well I guess to be fair that's most likely how it whent....but it was like a year ago this silly thing was announced before launch an besides it's just another paying you want it and don't pay if you don't want it sure its neat but will it help your game play? Will it give you free nukes? Will it fix the camping will it help your dying kill death ratio? Well guys I got news for you it won't help the camping that's for sure and you might think it helps K/D but that's only because the kids that are good at the game blow there money on it so they will have good K/D's and a tomogunchi. Just like everything in life if it costs money and you don't need it it's not gonna feel worth it

Here are some tips on how to work with it.

They take time to evolve.

Killstreaks feed the bonus meter at the bottom. You can use that bonus meter by using the watch interact. It will shave off time on the evolutions.

The 4 squares on the side are automatic:

Hunger = Kills

Dirty = Win Games

Unruly = Objective Score

Boredom = Activate Killstreaks

The pet will evolve into different creatures based on different variables and have secret forms that can manifest.

There are 2 gestures to work with watches. Sounds like you only have the interact equipped. Go to the barracks and add the inspect to your selection wheel.

I copped the retro gaming bundle last night and the anime tracer bundle as soon as it came out... 2 things... PS. Loving the Tomogunchi. My egg just hatched last night.

We will have a look at and see if we can make some improvements, but some blueprint paint jobs wont pair perfectly with those master camos.

Can you do me a favor on this? Completely reboot your system, poweroff, and bring the game back and check to see if the gesture is in your menu? Also what platform are you on?

When equipping the Tomogunchi, the Watch Interact gesture automatically equips at 6:00 on your sprays/gestures wheel.

In addition to the watch interact it is recommended you equip the Check Watch gesture.

Bonus meter. Fill the bonus meter and bank the bonus by using the interact gesture.

The bonus meter can speed up the pets evolution time.

Phase

  • Baby - Killstreaks; fill the bonus meter.
  • Child - Wins; (2) wins fill the bonus meter
  • Teen - Bomb plants; (1) bomb plant fill the bonus meter.
  • Adult - Winning + top 3 placement; (2) instances of a win + top 3 placement fill the bonus meter.
  • Secret Evolution Form - ??

You dont have to hit fill the bonus meter to evolve the pet. The bonus meter is used for speeding things up.

To reset the creature you will need to complete its cycle to reset it back to an egg. The pony came up because of average care. You could evolve the pony to its secret form but sounds like you want to restart. You can complete the adult cycle by filling the bonus meter at the bottom of the screen and banking it by using the watch gesture. To earn bonus time for an adult: Winning matches + top 3 placement; (2) instances of a win + top 3 placement fill the bonus meter. Or you can equip another watch and let it die.

Yes dont bank that bonus time as an adult so you have more time with it.

It doesn't pause. I've been so busy lately, mine has died 3 times. Hit some core to keep it going. I have to check but Im pretty sure the contracts that you get in both BR and Plunder should count for gamemode points.

I need to get with the scripter that worked on the Tomogunchi tomorrow and start getting the details for Tomogunchi Warzone pro tips. As far as I know mine has been functioning normally in both Plunder and BR. Minus the fact that one of the pets has bomb planting needs.

It works in Warzone. Are you playing BR exclusivley? "Plunder" has a lot more opportunity to grind with infinite respawns and no gas circle. It has a lot more in common with Team Death Match. Should help tend to the Tomogunchi.
